Crime And Punishment - Christmas 2019 - Alpha Release!!!

If you would like to partake of Crime And Punishment's Christmas 2019 Alpha Release, join Thuggysmurf's Project Valkyrie DISCORD SERVER and head into the Crime And Punishment channel. You will find the alpha release located in the pinned messages.

This alpha constitutes a 75% build of the mod (as in 75% of planned content, but what is there now is 100% complete). Everything contained in the current build has been rigorously bug tested and will be safe to install, be it on a new game or an existing one. That said, it is ALPHA and you should consider that ahead of putting into your level 100 character. This alpha will eventually be replaced by the release build, which will no longer be an ESP at that point, but an ESM, so simply updating will not be an option. Plan ahead and be aware that there are things to consider.

The discord channel has a few FAQ items to help with certain aspects of the mod, but for the remainder, the MCM is pretty explanatory for what functions do.

What do you need?

F4SE, Mod Configuration Manager and all of the official DLC (for legal reasons, this had to be so).

    Hell yeah, I just had to dload this when I saw it. This is exactly what I`m looking for: Karma options, Combat Surrender and I can`t wait till Stalkers becomes part of it. I used to love that whole creepy af "You feel distant eyes upon you"...had to make do with SKKCombat Stalkers since not using RSE.

    Oooof probably the best christmas gift in years. You recommend a new game? Also for adult content, I see CAP has its own pregnancy system, not compatible with FPE from Loverslab then?

    Anyways, time to be an evil character like I've been wanting to xD. Thanks for putting in all the effort into this btw, been watching for the past 2 months. Hopefully this ends up as the best mod of the year :3.

      Nope, not compatible with FPE at all. There is very little AAF in the mod at the moment, but that will grow a little bit. Not to the extent I use it in RSE mods, simply because there are rules about such content on Nexus, which I plan to abide by.

      Hope it is worth the wait - 48 hours into the Alpha Release now and still no bugs reported, so that is good! Hope you have the same, no-bug gameplay for your evil character! :)

      New game is always best, yes. But this is an alpha, so don't use it on your level 100 character that you care about... the mod is apt to change in many ways before it is officially released and you wouldnt be able to just swap it out on your game at that point. I suggest just playing with it on a throw-away character, for science purposes - just to get used to the mod and it's mechanics.

      I am hoping for an official Nexus release, no later than mid-Feb 2020. Definitely within the next 30-45 days, I would hope, in a perfect world.

      I hope your adventures will CAP are all that you would want them to be. :)

      As for content, all that is truly missing are a few faction kickout additions I am planning on making, a new system to recruit settlers via dialogue (even enemies that surrender to you during combat or that you've held up at gun point), plus some other small karma related items that tie into the settlement system. For the most part, what is in CAP is the meat of the mod (and as noted, its 100% there, nothing partial in here right now).

      24 hours into the alpha, no real bugs reported - a few fringe issues relating to other people's mods interacting in unexpected ways, which I'll sort out. But overall, CAP appears, from lack of complaint or bug reporting, to be completely functional and in perfect release candidate order. :)
