    No problem with 'artistic licence'....but....majority of conifers are evergreen, and while there are deciduous conifers, such as larch, you'd want them to either be green all year, or if larch type species, green for spring and summer, brown/rust for autumn and winter. Generally speaking, once a conifer loses it's needles, that's a sign of fatal disease, or fire damage etc...not seasonal...i,e, they wouldn't be able to green up again the next spring.
    The mushroom image makes me assume you aren't going for 'IRL' look...but the 1st and 3rd embedded images are awesome....you've got all 4 seasons in those two images.
    (My other pet peev is leaning conifers...it does happen, but conifers are super at growing straight up).
