Eh, I don't know about badly implemented. I think they were trying to go for the "hand-made ramshackle" approach to it. On the other hand... why? The game universe has established gauss weapons anyway.
Well there are some people who just hate everything vanilla anyway, they just hate the old and like the new. We can put this up like this, suppose that one of the vanilla okay enough weapon like the assault rifle (but still got trashed talked like hell) is not vanilla, it's implemented as a mod. Guess what, these people jump in and say "blah blah what a cool weap" " best weapon mod ever" "srsly bethesda should hire you" etc...
Look's fantastic as always. On a side note though, are there any of your older textures that you'd want to remake? Like, if there are any that you'd want to remaster and make look better? If I could make suggestions I'd personally say the Laser Rifle needs some more love, same with the assault rifle

Edit: I do hope you end up doing all of the weapons that you haven’t yet touched, you’re as good as if not better than Millenia at this point.
