Awesome shots Jonathan. I love the look you have in your game. The main would be perfect for the mod I just published.

Thanks Patrick. Aye pretty happy with my game. It might get a bit better soon though as I just ordered a new PC. Saw your mod and looks pretty cool although the game is already hard enough for me lol :)

That main is epic. Great set of images, Jon, the guys all look very rowr-Rowr! The main reminded me of my first run through of F4 with my first char, Mike. We had just found our first set of PA, it happened to be a full set, too. So we put it on and went on down the road, then got mobbed by a horde of ghouls near a Poseidon facility and were really busy for a few minutes. Heard a sound behind us, turned around and a deathclaw was directly behind us and towering over us. All we saw was this gaping maw full of teeth (I swear I could see it's tonsils ) and they snapped shut on her head. Shook her like a rat terrier shakes a rat. If she hadn't been wearing the helmet, well . . .

Thanks! I almost never post shots like that and thought it would be different.

The Deathclaws are still scary to me. I can take the basic ones down easy enough but some of them get damn tough as you go up in level, especially in SM.

Enjoyed your story with Mike :)

Aye Danse does like the PA. I am currently on hold while I try to make up my mind. I have to decide which faction will help build the relay transmitter - RR, BOS, or MM. I wanted to do Blind Betrayal but the problem is I do not want to side with the BOS at all. And to get that far you have to go all the way with liberty prime and you end up damaging relations with the RR (I think ... been a long time), although you can still finish with the MM. But I like the RR and prefer to not mess up my faction with them.

So not sure what to do at the moment. Most likely will have to stop with the BOS here and go with the RR and MM. Maybe in this world Danse will be happier not knowing as then he will remain with the BOS. Plus Lobo will also keep his faction standing with the BOS.

Been so long since I got this far I have forgotten at what point and which actions alienates other factions.

I do know if I have the MM build it that I still remain fine with the RR. But at some point I know you close the doors on other factions. I just don't know how far I can go with the BOS before the RR blocks you.

What I normally do is tell Des I got kicked out of the Institute and she sends me to the MM for help - which is somewhat the best solution as I stay friendly with them and work with the MM.

Actually you can do Blind Betrayal and once you save Danse then you can go straight towards the RR or MM. I think...I haven't done the RR questline yet.

Usually I think the Factions close on each other when you do the Reactor quest. Whoever you choose, the other 2 or 3 will close off.

      Though I'm not too sure...

I did some research. Right after BB finishes it kicks off the next quest which puts PAM on lock down. BUT as long as you do not go to Kells and talk to him then the RR won't go hostile. So in that sense you can finish BB and as long as you never talk to Kells until it fails (which I think happens once you defeat the Institute with the MM) you are safe.

Still that is a bit too ... well gamey for my tastes. It just meta plays the game which I tend to avoid. Plus to get to BB you have to do a whole lot of the BOS quests like Liberty Prime and more. I mean those are a lot of fun. I have done the BOS to the very end, but I deleted it as I felt dirty afterwards (for killing the RR folks), but it is a fun faction to do.

Anyhow I have some thoughts about all of this and Danse I will probably PM you on to discuss an idea in my head ... but not until I know for sure what I want to do.

I may put it on hold and hang out with Deacon for a bit. In truth, considering Lobo's past, he is probably most comfortable with the RR and MM. His main gripe with the RR, however, is the mindwipe. He had a mindwipe done on himself and he was NOT HAPPY about it. He strongly feels the RR is doing the wrong thing with the mindwipe. So there is that issue ...

Really the MM seem to be the clear good guys here. Well to me at least :)

Great shots!! I have not foraged into the Glowing Sea yet, even after all this time. Completely understandable why Lobo worried over others coming with him, but I'm glad he did have companionship after all. Scary place!
    All the guys look great!

      Big thanks Kes!

Never? Not in any play through? Really? That means you haven't done any of the longer parts of the core quests either then - since everything stalls until you do the Glowing Sea bit. So you can't have even gone to the Institute then either?!

I haven't explore it - I usually just head to Virgil and leave. But it was a lot more fun in PA (versus sneaking through it in the Hazmat suit). So my plan is to explore it more fully later on. Will see :-)

A brief foray in my very first play long ago. I guess I did go, because I remember Virgil, but I was new to FO4 and new to modding it, so that was a disaster and totally broke. Sheesh. Don't remember much about it except there were a lot of ferals...

Thanks Etholas and yes - love that mod. So well done with great detail. It was the main thing that got me to use PA in the first place for this.

That deathclaw was just anemic and was really happy that a walking iron supplement came along

That's the perk set that makes radiation heal you, not the cannibal perks.

Ah - I couldn't remember if they were combined. Was never big on the ghoul perks. I have the sun one where the sun heals radiation and health. Although not high enough to get them all yet (made level 40 last night).

Regardless using vanilla weapons, perks, and armor (not counting textures) Lobo is still a killing machine when he needs to be. With the blitz perk and his super sledge (that was doing 335 a hit last night and 3350 when from stealth do to the ninja perk that gives x10 to melee damage from stealth).

Tempted to get Power Train perks but would mean doing more in PA which I am not sure I want to. It has its annoyances much like being a WW does in Skyrim when it comes to interacting and animations.

That is Danse but my own version. I kept him somewhat close to original with a few tweaks:
