A couple of good things about using Painterly: you don't have to worry so much about clipping, and it sure doesn't matter if the textures aren't 4K. I guess my first encounter with that speech by Hamlet was from the play Hair. (1968 -- where does the time go?)

Great short scene and I like this quote (:
Read Hamlet once but was a redundant book to me.
Still can remember it's line of thinking felt so exhausting and spread wide out in a manic way.

    German translation (an official one!):
    Spoiler:
    Show

I love mainly the right half of the picture: JoJo's pose and the wonderful harmony of the colors, the wall, her clothes, the bench and the floor - although his slightly melancholic pose fits of course perfect to the quote!

Thank you. Yes, the hooded rag outfit looks great with this enb and the bench had such a great texture -- I had to do something with that scene.

Well, I guess I'm showing my age.
Whenever I see "What a piece of work is man", instead of thinking Shakespeare, I think "HAIR"

Yeah. I was just reminiscing with FBC, we both saw it in LA.

Probably should give this a run. It looks very interesting. A very different approach. But your originals fit perfectly here

It takes a while to get used to and I've been playing with it for a week or so. It's just not going to work well for some images. For example, Cyber Apartments is really bad and no amount of tweaking would make it much better. But, in other cases like the main image -- JoJo happened to sit on the bench (idle anim) and I said Wow. Anyway, I wanted to give it a try for those Parisienne sidewalk cafe and street scenes that you see so often. Come to think of it, I've got an Arc de Triomphe poster in the kitchen area. Final thought. With 1k-2k graphics you're never going to get photographic images, so why bother. Try something else. I believe that was the inspiration for many of the impressionists -- only in reverse. Paintings couldn't compete with photographs in detail for the most part.

Thank you very much. It's something I wanted to try and see how it looked. In the main image, it was perfect. You can almost see the painters brush strokes in the bench and the outfits.

From "The paragon of animals" to the "quintessence of dust". I'm wondering where feral ghouls sit on this continuum?
    Nice work on the paintings.

Ghouls -- yeah, I suspect that the bard would have to write a couple more paragraphs. Thanks.

Thanks. Hamlet (or rather Shakespeare) is a pretty deep guy. I thought the speech had some bearing to Fallout.

All's well that ends well! "The web of our life is of a mingled yarn, good and ill together." And Hamlet did not end well at all. He wasn't typecast as they're doing in these bad movies when the always awesome protagonists possess no flaws or character growth! Like Star Wars 'Rey' or Captain Marvel compared to better characters before them. Hamlet was a man with deep flaws who brought about much of his own ruin. I believe because Shakespeare wanted to break convention and portray humanity even at it's worst.

Max being reflective as he contemplates the passage read by JoJo is perfect for this

So true about Hamlet. And what a genius Shakespeare was. Centuries later and most still recognize him as the greatest of English writers. Super Heroes, right, you made a good funny.
