About this image

Updated vertex normals on the hand mesh to get rid of wrist seams.

Kudos to Blaze69 at LL forums for the tips.

It's available now in CBBE (as of v2.6.2). You will also need seamless textures, try CBBE Ida Body Texture (Vanilla-like version).

    Hello
Just out of interest, When do you plan on releasing this mod?
I'm playing with CBBE and Pip-pad, I only just realised the wrist seam when I took off the character outfit in first person, there is this noticable ugly gap on the left wrist allowing the light to shine through.
This mod would be revolutionary for me upon its release

Hi, I know its been nearly a year since you posted this but, I really need help.

I uninstalled Unique Player because I didn't want it. Currently I use Silky Smooth Skin with CBBE for my textures.
However, since I installed Unique Player, my character now has seams on both the wrist and neck. It is visible in third person, though in first person there is literally a full gap, like as if a chunk of my characters wrist is missing. I have tried changing the skin mod I used, like, I used Ida's and FSM and many others, and I tried reinstalling Unique Player, but still no fix. This did not happen at all before today, and it is really annoying me:( PLEASE HELP! Thanks:)

Excellent work! I use your HiPoly Faces since it's release, btw. :)
If you can do the same with the neck seam you will become my new god to worship)
Cause all that little things like seams, broken knees et cetera makes me so pissed off that I gave up with CBBE for a long time, despite the fact of all my efforts to hide those non-immersive things behind the clothes and bracelets...

I am glad you asked. How do you think I discovered this fix? Yes, this method works on the neck too.

Now before anyone celebrates, there are some pretty big technical limitations in fixing the neck this way. Here are some; textures (body and head) will need to be updated, head meshes will need to be redone (some limitations within Outfit Studio is preventing this ATM), and finally, NPC facegen will need regenerating (another massive pain, but this will fix the head rear issue on NPCs as well)....

Now if I can find the right kind of help, it may be possible someday...

Now I feel sorry to completely lacking knowledge about all that stuff you mention. I know how to rework some of the already existed textures in the Ps, and some sort of creating mesh-ups in the Outfit Studio. That's all...
Maybe someone else here on the Nexus has a good experience with 3D modeling and can land you a hand? I mean if you directly asking for this.
Well, all I can do now is hope and wait)
Anyway, thanks a lot for a quick and detailed answer! You are most kind)

Fixing the neck is relatively easy - rebaking a highpoly normal with the connector part of the neck and body, adjusting the diffuse and giving the paddings of the specular some smoothing and you're good to go.
