      Maybe it's "X-02 Mark I". Mark I's (or A's) is always dirty.

      Post apocalypse, no point in cleaning it until it's absolutely needed for maintenance.

      Yeah and since it's the Enclave we're talking about it makes sense that it's dirty, they were defeated and whatever armor was salvaged from the wreck of the Mobile Base Crawler would be in disarray, also take into account all this happened 10 years ago in the Fallout Universe and nothing stays clean in the wastes for long especially armor buried beneath tons twisted metal and rubble.

      Seems to be me that the majority of the dirt is actually damage and paint damage.
      And since the repair facilities are limited it thus makes sense.
      
      This stuff is made of ceramics after all so fixing it is pretty hard if not impossible.

    Could you do it so it uses the same colors and textures as x-02 to fit the enclave feel?
