Maybe you can potentially expand on this weapon as a potential weapon replacer for the Institute Laser Rifle? The Sonic Pulse Weapon being one of the 6 optional energy weapon barrel attachments for it (Sonic, Laser, Gamma, Fire, Cryo, and Plasma) With its own new unique ammunition known as the Institute Power Cell. A Post War Ammunition type that can generate the power needed for any one of the six energy weapon typings.
This could be an interesting weapon. I could see it being used to launch foes across the map or to disorient foes.
Very nice work, it looks like it belongs in the game.
