Well I was wrong lol :) fun fact: The word is said to have been coined by San Francisco columnist Herb Caen in 1958 to combine the "beat" counter-culture individual of the 1940s with the "nik" from Sputnik, the Russian satellite. Beefcake - Have you ever heard of a woman refer to a well built, muscular man as a "beefcake"?
I have known that word for a long time. I figured it had to do with beef - which has always seemed a man thing. Like bulls and other large animals. Cake means sweet and a treat. So a manly treat. Someone big and beefy who is also "sweet" on the eyes :)
Very different definition than what you found lol!
And oh my, you can serve up any kind of beefcake any time, every day, 24/7. Dear lord, it's like you pulled what I like right out of my head. I Really, really have to learn bodyslide and outfit studio!!
Sheesh, forgive me, it's 2:30am...
I sometimes do wonder if anyone really likes the way I make my men. I do like them rugged, masculine, well built and toned but lots of muscles and bulges with some nice curves as well :) yet I know many prefer slim and athletic style. I think I also like the sense of strength in a well built man. Ah well I am sure it has to do with something in my genes and my upbringing :) I tend to not dwell on it and just enjoy them :)
And I also must agree that mashup looks nice! :)
(and love the beefcake shot, as well )
The background for the Add-ons looks great. And Lobo in your favorite is - ah, you already know what I think, but the background looks best in the first one for me: It's less ' mechanical' , a bit more 'organic' (might depend on the FOV?) Would be interesting to see that with plants of different greens, or something industrial in the background.
And although the beefcake (what a funny word) was tasty, your 'ghost-moon' description, was the thing that made me really laugh this time.
Really a Happy Monday. Thanks!
Jonathan is also a favorite and a more personal character but since he is closer to me I view him differently. And I adore Fenn and obviously have an almost obsession at times with Mac but Lobo ... something wild, dangerous, and free about him.
Like his namesake the wolf (as well as the comic book hero of the same name). I think part of me longs for that wild side. it doesn't hurt that he is also ruggedly handsome in his own way and built like brick shi* yard.
As for the moom .. I always try to come up with some explanation for things, no matter how implausible :)
I would say my fav is the one before the last, I like how Lobo is looking there... Idk... he kinda looks relaxed to me
I don't do much art stuff but now and then I like to try something different.
Cheers :)
Oh, btw, Preacher's back...
