Beside your ability of creating and composing great images - that ENB looks so fantastic, with it's varieties.I am soo looking forward for it's release, nearly can't await it.
Thank you so much for that foretaste!!

Thanks, awful kind of you to say! Yep, I reckon you'll get a kick out of this thing when/if it ever sees the light of day.

Wow ... a great diversity of wonderful pics.
Are some various LUT‘s included or your own various settings for the different atmospheres?
And the various frames? Are they a part of this ENB too?

Thanks BM! Like Film Workshop, the new PRC uses twin LUTs simultaneously at different stages in the shader process to create the final 'look'. In this case, there's a set of LUTs that imitate various film stocks, and a (long) list of colorgrade LUTs that are layered on top of that (after simulated photographic effects like ISO and shutter speed have been applied). Frames, grain, weathering and scratches, and a few other final-touch layers are also built into the ENB.

I like the gritty, high contrast between colors look to these. I loaded PRC (9.1) once again and started playing with lens effects. It made for an enjoyable evening. Good luck with your wip -- hope it comes out soon.

Thanks- it's L00's WIP, not mine- I'm just the stress-tester! Glad to hear you're getting a kick out of the classic version; the new one's much more like Film Workshop in its application, but like PRC in the visual outcome, if that makes sense.

There's always so much to look at in your photos—vegetation, crunchy textures, little character details—but the coloring always makes them easy to parse. It's like your choice/use of coloring brings the chaos under some control, so the viewer can relax and take it in.

These new PRC tools look like a blast. This one and this one are favorites, I always dig the white borders. I'm inclined to frame the green one on my desk.

Thanks Justin. Funny you should mention the green one. I took quite a few pretty similar shots of this person walking through the glowing sea ruckus, but in this one the combination of sudden foreground fog layer plus some physics glitch that made the hair swing out added the dynamic lines the image needed to 'work'. The other shots I left on the cutting room floor were pretty disappointingly static, but owing to the random weirdness of the game, this one ended up coming out OK. Just like with real photography, it's these unpredictable combinations of environmental effects that more often than not make a shot.

Looking very good DV,.. not a real fave, but the one with the fog condenser is a very cool one ( amongst other cool ones,..)

Thanks! My eye was caught by the way the glow from the fog condenser blends with the glow of the clouds in the starry sky.

Thanks Will! It's coming along pretty good so far- can't wait to see L00's final version with all the polish.

Exceptional shots! No need to say anything more!

I really like how the world looks in this capture, so lush and alive in contrast to the rusty car wreck. You even got marguerites!

The very last shot is also a personal favorite, the whole image just makes you smile with the strong colours and the expression of joy to the character.

Thanks Rick! I've been slowly cobbling together a custom mix of grass and environmental textures (which will not likely be published here due to the absurd number of permissions needed to do it without causing offence [hit me up though if you want an off-the-record WIP version for your own amusement]). For all the grimdark stylings, there's always time for a little joy and goofiness in this game world.
