About this image

15 June 2019 will be a special day for the Militarized Minutemen - Uniforms, Patches and Insignia Addon: It will be the one-year anniversary of its release. To that end, I have decided to do something special for each and every one of you who have supported the mod since its release. I am also glad to inform you all that having surpassed 10,000 unique downloads, we are officially a Divisional-sized unit. This special unit insignia from the upcoming summer update will not just be an anniversary patch, but also a functional divisional patch for your Minutemen :D

Stay tuned for the Summer Update, coming to you soon hopefully on a hot summer night :D

What's always bugged me about this mod & the original is that Ronnie, McGann, Preston, & Clint still wear the original vanilla Minuteman outfits. Could you replace their outfits with the militarized outfits?

Excellent!! That's a nice remake of the 1st Marine "Guadalcanal" Division patch. Well done!! I'm looking forward to the update.

Thanks, that is actually the inspiration. The "Massachusetts" patch I used as a historic gesture to the original Minutemen and their first action in 1775.

A division size? Wow, that is impressive! In my game, I decided to make my Minutemen Armed Forces each have a Brigade size for the different services with the NCR having a Battalion size for balance changes. Sending 1,000 men from the West Coast to the East Coast is already a lot. But I guess that a Division could work post game. With the destruction of the Institute, The Minutemen became the superpower of the Commonwealth and so new recruits were signing up every day for better pay and for a sense of pride and accomplishment. Increasing the size of the Minutemen every day. Division size is around 10-15K soldiers. But I love the design man. This will be awesome once it's in game.

In case you were curious. Here is how I have my Armed Forces units broken down with the addition of your mod.

    Minutemen Armed Forces
    Total Size = 28,000 personal

    Army
    ______________
    1st Infantry Brigade ‘Grunts’ – 5,000
    2nd Infantry Brigade – ‘Hellfighters’ – 5,000
    3rd Infantry Brigade ‘Patriots’ (Enclave) – 5,000
    4th Infantry Brigade ‘Rangers’ – 5,000
    5th Infantry Battalion ‘Troopers’ (NCR) – 1,000

    Air Force
    ______________
1st Air Assault Battalion ‘Air Cav’ – 1,000
    2nd Air Assault Battalion ‘Airborne’ – 1,000
    1st Aviation Wing ‘Flyboys’ – 1,000

    Navy & Marines
    ______________
    1st Maritime Battalion ‘Deep Divers’ – 1,000
    2nd Maritime Battalion ‘Salty Dogs’ – 1,000
    1st Marine Raiders Battalion ‘Jarheads’ – 1,000
    2nd Marine Raiders Battalion ‘Bouncers’ – 1,000

      That is a good breakdown.

How I arrived at the design was that I originally planned to do just the anniversary patch. Then I noticed that the mod was currently sitting at around 10,295 unique downloads, which is a slight bit over 10,000 for a small infantry division.

Thus I decided to combine the two ideas. Design is clearly inspired by 1 MARDIV :D

I got an idea for the mod. Maybe the 1st Infantry Division will be the overall size of the biggest Minutemen Army unit.
And then below that will be the 3 or 5 different Brigades that are constantly out in the field.

Just a suggestion but I would love to see a patch for a Brigade and or Battalion units as well. :)
