    That scene in McDonuts office......... Him calling out someone as a knave....... Ingrid didn't need a physical whip here. Though he certainly would have preferred THAt kind of lashing. Preston for once seems almost as if he's got a personality. Twisting and turning your story is. Almost making me dizzy and enjoying it immensely

    Oh, Reggies arrogant behaviour, because of the feeling of superiority, his poses and facial expressions - masterly.
    And Micky of course is the coolest cat in town - that's for sure!
    I don't know really about Jojo - she is an intelligent person, I am sure, but the way she makes jokes about even the most serious situations....hmm.
    HiHi, I like the way these two 'convince' the people -they are so Clever and Smart.
    Yes, and of course a cliff hanger - life is cruel, you are cruel.
    Love it. From the beginning to the end! Thank you!

      It sems that most villains have an air of superority and arrogance. It makes it that much more fun to take them down. JoJo is copied after Nora Charle in the Thin Man movies. So she's sophisticated, jaded, and sarcastic. That's just her style. Gotta have my cliff hangers.

    Terrific chapters, and magnificient story, I had no idea that tapes are so well included in the grand scheme! O_O

      Initially, I wasn't going to deal with the tapes, but that would mean that MIcky and Mouseketeers would have to go in hiding at the end of the con. Reggie would be able to hunt them down. The blackmail/extortion leverage was a good way to go.

    The "insurance" finally comes into play. Well set up. Reggie's brain will be on overload once he stops laughing. He knows (or should know) Micky has something up his sleeve. And Reggie looks like he's going down even though he thinks he holds all the cards - "Pride goes before a fall."

    "'I wonder what does one wear to a 'blackmailing'?" - great quip from JoJo. Nice to see them back in action. Good variety in the scenes and poses for the extortion dialogues.

    I know the end of the story is near. Totally enjoyable ride.(Now, i'm hoping I'm not overconfident that Reggie will get the Commonwealth equivalent of life in prison. )

      "What does one wear?". And then I forgot to have her change into something else. Well, she ended up wearing it in the final chapter. No sunsets, but there is a happy ending.

    Oh I think I see where this going now. You really did think things out well. Or at least have a very clever and flexible mind to come up with things as you go. Or both which is often the case :)

    I have been reading a few places online how folks are loving your stories - one or two comments on discord and flickr from friends - about how they look forward to each post like its a movie or weekly sitcom :) Thought you might like to know you may reach cult status soon!

      The only major plot decision I made was about the tapes. When I initially did the story board, I just had Micky giving most of the money to Dayna and then disappearing. That was not satisfying, so I quickly came up with the extortion angle. Well, actually it's introduced in Fusion City Rising, I just decided to take advantage of the idea.

      A cult following. That's pretty funny, but interesting. Lola will have to be the head priestess of the cult.
