I'm glad you decided to struggle through- this is a great set of shots. Great interplay between the new frames and the composition, layout, and color-work of your images. Your work often has a quiet, potent dignity to it, which is rare to see (done well) in any medium, let alone screen-shooting.

Wow, thanks so much! It means a lot I try to take these themes seriously and take my time to get something I can be proud of. Sometimes I get there, sometimes I don't but they always force me to try something new and to learn which is always a good thing.

Beautiful collection, Kala! I read you struggled some, but it doesn't show at all, so much variety and many possibilities for great captures in your way. I personally prefer rather simplistic shots where the composition does more for the image than the effects. Of course you can have them both, but it's still the composition that comes first when deciding if an image is successful or not. This you handle with some great care and very delicately!

I really like the female standing in the shadow of a deathclaw (!) and the main shot. I actually had the Corvega sign up for selection too for my set, but it didn't make it into my final batch of images for the theme.

    Awesome shots!

Thanks so much! I agree at the heart of every great screenshot composition is what makes or breaks an image. Usually I limit my effects to letterbox but this ENB has such a great source of cool film overlays that I had to give them a go lol

The deathclaw shadow set was my first attempt at the theme I was going to do a whole set with different shadows for the subjects but it got boring. The corvega shot was a accident as I was taking screenshots off the overpass and I saw that raider up top so I decided to investigate to see if I could get a good shot.

That is a very cool set,.. I recognize that struggle, since I had the same.
It seems you eventually got to some great idea's and then executing them with this upcoming WIP is also very cool,.. From what I can see that's certainly one I have to keep an eye on.
I like the desolate feel of that last image and also the one where your character is standing in that big shade of the deathclaw,..great looking set,..

Thanks so much! Yeah the theme sounded so simple then I got in game and none of my ideas worked so it took a lot longer then anticipated lol but it was worth it as I had to try some things I hadn't do so far. You will love the PRC update it really is alot of fun to play with and so many options with film grades it took me a while to get these done but it was due to the fact I was playing with the settings

The shot of your pc and Dogmeat at the shoreline works really well at conveying the theme; it has a certain sense of vulnerability to it (likewise the majestic moon shot is framed so nice - contrary to popular opinion, I actually prefer my moons small)
I can relate to you feeling like the theme this month was difficult, I had to discard quite a few ideas as they were too ambitious to execute (or in the case of one that I tried, it made my gpu overheat and cause a complete system shutdown, on three seperate attempts)
Between this set and DV's recent reminder set, I'm very excited to try the new version of PRC - that final shot using the Ilford frame looks spectacularly cinematic.

Thanks so much! This theme turned out to be much harder then I originally thought but I wanted to show how little humanity is compared to the world we live in. I am sorry to hear about your PC I hope no permanent damage was done sometimes I worry about mine overheating when I spend so long in game. You'll love the PRC update what you can do with it is unlimited there are so many things you can tweak and change to get some really unique images.

Wow, I am very impressed. I Like the way you look at the 'world' very much, and you did wonderful things with the ENB.
I tested all the Presets for PRC recently for me, and I like them very much, so I will look for that update.
    Incredible work!Tracked for the future.
    Thank you for showing!

Aww thanks so much for your kind words! I tend to spend alot of time looking at the world from a lot of angles to find something interesting. I have to give it to Bethesda they created some pretty cool locations to take shots of. I think you will love the update to PRC it is simply amazing

Thanks I really love using Dustbowl I think it helps create a really barren and dead looking world that works well for FO4

Clever ideas and well-executed in muted colors and monochromes. I like the deathclaw shadow and the irony of the perception of the moon and the stars.

(I, too am struggling with being able to present the ideas I want. I have some images taken, but they're not quite right and the deadline is fast-approaching. )

Thanks so much! Once I got into the mood for taking screenshots they came together but it was hard to get there this time. I am sure your shots will be great I can't wait to see them
