I couldn't help but give Lola a little chance to shine. She's so goofy, I love writing her part of the story. And Mr. Hanger seems to have knocked at the door once again.

Almost 10 chapters behind you.... Oh well - I'll catch up. Lola is really a - wonderful - work of art. And I sense more than a hint of Douglas Adams here Beautifully done and very entertaining

*O* I hope it's nothing serious about the security!

Lola is incredible. Both her looks and personality are gorgeous *-*

Doing some cat-ching up again, story is marvellous so far! Wes good to see that Club Smuggle accounting con was a success ^-^

Security - eh, not much better than the Diamond City guards.Lola has been a fun character for me. I'm glad you like her.

The nice thing about catching up later -- you don't have to wait to see how the cliff hanger was resolved.

A little 'gravy' for Micky's team since this wasn't a part of the original plan (I don't think so, anyway. )

I like the color scheme in this chapter. And, good use of the spacial anomaly effect. Nice variety of scenes for essentially one action.
Lola is a lot of fun!

I hope he didn't hide the tapes in the toilet tank. That's the first place any competent security team would look. Of course, the Fusion City Security is kind of like mall cops, so....

Your memory is correct, it wasn't part of the original plan. But, Dayna did tell them about it. Eventually, Micky figured he might be able to use the info to his benefit. Stay tuned , we shall see.Damn, I was thinking the toilet tank.

Lola, all "dressing" aside, is intelligent, capable and very attuned to the world around her.

Another delightful chapter which of course would not be complete without a visit from Mr. Cliff Hanger.

Yes, despite all her goofy spiritualism, she is a smart cookie.

Signing the note as "The Resistance" does have a lot more panache than "A Bunch of Cons Trying to Get You Out". LOL! I love Lola and got a big grin at her soothing the scared little safe. She reminds me of a few people I've known.

I liked that "Resistance" bit myself. I almost didn't include it, since Lola wasn't going to free Janet at this time. I guess Lola is a conglomeration of a few people I've met who read tea leaves, palms, study the sun signs, or dabble in Paganism. Probably something like the ones you know.

It doesn't seem to do any good. My son is a big Yankee fan. It's OK, his penance is that he's also a Cubs fan.

Yep, someone dropped and egg....or threw a towel over the wrong camera....or Reggie is much better at his trade than suspected. Love the baseball references about the Red Sox. Lola is definitely a little out there and cute. I have no idea how you did the image's on the other side of the safe, but it is a great effect. Nice 'hanger'

In the show Damn Yankees, it's the Washington Senators (who are long gone, of course). A die-hard fan sells his soul to the Devil to be young again, and give the Senators just one shot at the Pennant.

If you're in an interior area with a wall to the outside (sometimes just another room) you can get that effect. Slowly tfc through the wall and look around as you go. What you normally see is the background present outside of the interior - sky water, trees, etc. In the image from this set, if I panned up, I could see the moon.

I took this one inside the Last Plank, and this one from a wall at the Prost Bar.

I think Scratch put the tapes in the toilet tank. :D
      Ruh roh.
You can say that again, Scooby. Holy toilet water, Caped Crusader.
One shouldn't over react, Robin. Toilet tanks are impervious to X-rays and most surveillance devices.

    !!T h a tw a sg r e a t!!
Absolutely funny - every single line and picture.
I don't think she is goofy - she is very unique!
Smoking a cigarette afterwards - shows how 'intense' that is for her!
    And a wonderfuul song!
That deserves a double Thank you!

Thank you. Yes, cigarettes are popular after a lot of things. It's a great song from the Broadway musical Damn Yankees. It's about the Devil's secret weapon, Lola, trying to seduce the main character.
