Brilliant idea and splendid execution! I love the old-school pedal-punk inspiration. Impressive cobble job using only vanilla NIFs, too.

      Thanks. Me, too.
It has been updated with more complex and more detailed nifs, to give it a more vintage look.

Very clever and a very good replica of something very odd in RL. It would have taken a lot of guts to actually run that or a lot of whiskey in the pilot.

      Thanks.
Yeah, I guess it was a really scary thing to do. Its first mission was during the night, and the operator, Ezra had to drill a hole in an enemy ship's hull and attach the explosive charge to it. All while pedaling and cranking, having only his compass and oil lamp.

I've always wanted to see some kind of submarine mod in Fallout 4. I wish you could dive with it though.

Does the player character take rad damage while in the water?

I kinda like the idea that it cannot dive. It is a very daunting task to do IRL, so given the age of the sub, I believe it is more appropriate for our Soldier player to just use it as a semi submerged vehicle/player home. Hidden, but still very easy to use and drive.
No, the player is protected both while driving (100% from rad, 50% from gunshots, and fully protected when in the interior cell).
