About this image

I seem to be bouncing around the different Fallouts a lot these days... Ah well, I'm having fun.

Since this is my first time playing FO4, and I haven't been doing so for long, I've went very light on the mods thus far. Nonetheless, I enjoyed taking this shot. It would probably look better with something to make the nights darker, but next time, perhaps.

Thank you, on all counts! And hopefully I'll actually manage to settle with a single character in one game for a while...

Thanks so much for the links! I've been looking at weather and lighting, and it appears NAC may be what I'm after.
Horizon looks awesome! I will probably install that for my next character, though, since I don't usually add gameplay mods until I've tried vanilla at least once. That will actually work well, since I was also planning to do a survival run the next time, too.

I don't know offcourse how well you are in modding FO4, and using Enb. Nac is great even better using Filmworks shop with it.
      https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/24660. Film workshop.
But don't use Horizon with the other two unless you are a hardcore FO4Edit user

Horizon is a complete overhaul and make the vanilla survial even more fun. But be aware that since horizon is a complete overhaul nearly all other mods needs a patch.

And if you need any advice later, Though not a wizard in Fo4 but have beeen modding it since the start I can maybe help you, then just pm me.

I'm actually quite experienced at modding.. been doing it since the Morrowind days. Nonetheless, my experience in XEdit is somewhat limited; I know how to clean files, sort masters and create a merged patch... but that's the extent... I truthfully don't have the patience to sift through everything with a microscope...
So.. hopefully if I end up needing patches with this game, there will be some released (I did notice that Horizon has a bunch of patches uploaded to Nexus), but if not I'll have to knuckle down and teach myself to do it.

Today, I spent a lot of time experimenting with lighting and weather, and in the end I actually decided to go with True Storms, Interiors Enhanced and Dawn ENB. NAC and Filmworks look amazing, but they aren't fully my style. Happily, Dawn also seems to (ironic, given the name) darken nights a bit. I definitely appreciate the mention, though, and I'm keeping them on Tracking in the event that I want a change.
