This is an idea for my "Satojomov Armory" mod.

The upper gun is a .45 ACP model, and the lower gun is a new 5mm model. Please compare the width of magazines.
This kit is a set of receiver and magazine for 5mm. Low RoF, but its power and range are improved.

It was inspired by the experimental  .30 carbine Thompson submachine gun.
Also, this idea is being tried for a request.

    I've been waiting so long for someone to make a mod for the .30 Carbine prototype ever since I saw it on Forgotten Weapons!

    Do you have an intention to make a version that uses the .30 Carbine in New Calibers?

    gotta agree that pre/non-assault rifle smg-carbines seem like a really good fit for fallout weapons, the M1/M2 style bits for the hunting rifle will also be a great addition. I know you haven't really touched the dlc, but I'm curious if you've had any ideas to add to the lever gun or volkssturmgewehr or use their parts, the StG magazine comes to mind, or to expand on the handmade AK beyond your classic barrel.
