Soo, another shot with more natural color. As you can see, it's very much a WIP retexture - I don't have any dirt on it yet, so things look a bit bland at the moment.
That's something I have been looking into, but I'm afraid that maybe a little above my skill level. I think I would need to break up the existing helmet mesh into the main part and visor, and then create the new mesh for the inner part. I don't know anything about using 3D modeling software yet. Maybe I'll get there one day, but I have my hands full with learning to do retexture at the moment.
Soooo - I'm not saying no, but it may not happen for a long time. :-/
No worries mate. Wish I knew how to retexture things but I’ve found fo4 modding to be more advanced then my current skill set. Appreciate the run down, hopefully you’ll learn quickly and gain more knowledge. Cheers mate and lovely work!
Yes, I do hope to learn 3D modeling sooner rather than later, because that would open up so much possibilities for me. That would be a big step, though. Pretty intimidating stuff. :-/
i actually really liked that little monitor texture in the front, however those steam like meters in the "geiger counter" box could also be "modernized" a little, to really give that "advanced" tech style, also, here's some images of a real life concept of a futuristic spacesuit designed by NASA
I have been actually trying to find a solution, but none I have tried so far worked for me. I guess I could nuke the normals forming the two circles and design something completely different from scratch.... maybe I'll try that. This is just re-texture, though, and there are only so much I can do here, unfortunately.
..I am not a big fan of those NASA suits to be honest. :-/
