    Personally, I think it's anything but bad. It's incredible! Way better than me and my modeling skills by a long shot! I am really excited to see where this goes if you do continue. I really love the XM8 and if I ever catch you modeling even the Heckler & Koch XM320 grenade launcher on the rifle (non functional is still great!) then you'll definitely get me really excited! Thank you for putting the time and effort into this project.

    It's abandoned because it's bad and I don't knew how to put it in the game. It was my first model. (sorry for my bad english)

    3D modelling student here. You've definitely got the outline down great but it's gonna be a nightmare working on the side details with all those long, awkward shaped polygons there. Don't be afraid to add in more edgeloops on areas like the bottom of the barrel or the front face on the bottom of the stock. Even if they don't affect the overall shape, it'll be a lot easier to model the side when you're only working on squares and rectangles instead of these very long and irregular shaped spiderweb style polygons.

    Looks like you've avoided triangles which is great, but for now it's probably more important to get everything straightened out and in more of a grid. Much easier to break triangles into quads at any time or remove unnecessary edgeloops, but modelling that topology is gonna be a nightmare.

    This is definitely a great start though, I look forward to seeing where you take it! :)
