    When I saw your collection with Tyra, I was so curious, what happend that I went instantly to this chapter. What I have missed ... oh, which development here ... sad to bury Nate, but a good decision. Appears logical and frees Isolde to start really a new life. And ... what a wonderful surprise to meet Tyra here ... her background story is believable and really cool

      It was so kind of Kai to share his wonderful character with me. I just hope I can do her justice as their acquaintance is renewed in Isolde's Story .

    A dilemma that I had never considered...of course you'd bury your husband! Interesting turn of events to reveal an old friend still in the cryopod. An excellent way to introduce a new character.

      I hadn't really thought about it until I really started to role play Isolde.
      I had such a golden opportunity when Kai shared his preset of Tyra that I had to find a way to get her in.

    Nicely done, Hammer. I had a conversation early on with a friend not long after the game was released about the poor popsicled spouse being left behind while the PC goes off to have adventures and build settlements (whether they wanted to or not--thanks, Preston )--it seemed "off" to me that the PC wouldn't go back sooner or later to give their spouse a decent burial and a final farewell.

      that is indeed a really big lack in the vanilla story... imo ... but well... with PG on your side you are way too busy to find time for yourself... and think of all the Raiders... and Ghouls... and Deathclaws... and those Synths and other creatures... did I miss sth... well the flying BoS who appears everywhere and the vertibirds that fell on your head... when in gods name shall the poor SV find the time to do his personal stuff... I don't even think there is time for the morning routine

      Nice idea H. and lovely set in scene with your own unique style

      Thank you both for the comments. In other play throughs, I didn't really give it much thought. There is no game mechanic to bury the dead and I wasn't doing very much actual role playing (just game playing) until I started with Isolde. At first, it was too painful for her to go back to the scene of the crimes and then ... well, she can be a bit of a procrastinator.

    Fantastic Story
    I love Tyra and its so nice to see her in your world
    This statement "but she was no longer certain that she wanted to find him" let me hard think about the bond between mother and child.
    Can time make such a bond dwindle? You are right when you say, she could never be a mother for him and that's she is only the biological parent, but I think that's a very difficult topic, that you can not easily discuss.

      Thanks. Glad you liked it. It's a bit contrived, but not impossible. If I thought harder, I might be able to come up with something more reasonable than just finding Tyra by blind luck. She's going to have to overcome the same psychological shocks that Isolde did and one more - she went into cryo before the bombs fell. She doesn't know the world has been destroyed.

      Isolde has doubts about Shaun. She was his mother for nine months (outside the womb) and she knows how long he's been without her and where he's been and some of what he's done. So, she has a definite conflict. The bond is there. It will always be there. But, it's not as strong as it was when she first emerged from the vault.

      You're very welcome. If a story can provoke thoughts or emotions, that's the best approval a writer can get that they've done something right.

    A thoughtful gesture to bury her neighbors in their backyards. I liked that next to last picture of Tyra -- good one.

    Marvelous! Very clever intro for a 'visitor' to your game....just awesome along with the posing. I can't wait to see what you do with the feminine mix you have now I would imagine Tyra is fluent in German..... You jogged a memory of mine....my Father was born and raised in Monterey and my memories of Cannery Row and the new Aquarium are very vivid again. Thanks

      Thanks very much. I'm using the Amanda mod. (It's very versatile.) The real Tyra (gucky2010's Tyra) is fluent in German but this Tyra is all American. Her family built and lived in the Westing Estate (a vanilla Fallout4 location) but she'll certainly be surprised by how much things have changed. She went into cryo before the bombs dropped.
      I certainly glad to raise happy memories. I was in Monterey some eons ago. Isolde and Nate were both stationed on "the West Coast" and it seemed like Monterey would be a good place to go for a casual date.

      Thanks very much. Tyra is a preset of one of gucky2010's player characters. (I just changed the hair and lipstick colors). I wanted to get her into Isolde's play through and I'm using the Amanda mod so I can have her as a follower. There's a small backstory to the mod that Amanda was a fashion model but I just changed it to fit my own plot.
