And the whole experimenting with Mac! damn Those Scientist are very objective (Don't give 2 s***'s about ethics! )
Ah I've got a few left to read! But yeah Very nice!
At the experiment part I really feel disgust and worried trully for Mac. I hate these liberal, unnatural, biogenetic sh*t, these are really against the humanity.
I hope Fenn reach him soon. Huh, well I think this episode was great too, since made my pressure high, you are a great writer Jon! :D
Every time I read stories here or on the Skyrim forum I am reminded of just how damn cool it is to be able to create all these scenes.
Like how you used Mac's perspective to build up tension for the medical experiments.
The scientists were quite confident about their work, so it was shocking to read about their failure and that Mac might die through these experiments.
Ray of hope that Fenn gets close. He has a difficult task to do. Hopefully he may be undetected as long as possible. But then their is the question what he can do to revert the experiments on Mac.
The message of your title comes more and more to the surface.
Well done.
I think the scientists were over-confident (I especially tried to show that Dr. Stratham was somewhat arrogant and cocky). Plus my research on FEV shows just how complicated that virus is to work with and how it mutates. It is rather unpredictable. I also don't think they realized Mac's system would fight back like it did.
Jon your story gets better and better with every progression! Can't wait for the next one
As I mentioned in another comment one reason I wanted to do a real deep story is to help bring these three more to life - which can only be done through my writing and that also means writing heavy stuff and not just light stuff ... even though in general I prefer the lighter stuff and do that most :)
And that's why I hate to call them just characters. You do bring them to life, but unfortunately, life isn't all light, especially not in a post-apocalyptic world! I like this very much!
