WIP Combat Rifle Rework Update 1

Working on a mod to add different receiver/magazine according to ammo type for the vanilla combat rifle.
The caliber in the pic is 5.56mm, others would be .45 and .308.

As for changes, got rid of the round tab on the mag well, worked on the stock grip and included a fluted barrel for light barrel mod.

    Like the improved handle, though if you're willing to tweak the mesh more something like a safety, fire selector, or other greebles might make it even more military and realized looking. Likewise with some barrel shrouds or similar like those on the shotgun. Another thought would be making the super blocky wooden foregrip more rounded, horizontal grooves, or other ergonomic changes to make it read more like an assault/battle rifle. Also the PKM stock off the gauss rifle could look pretty good.
