For the weak machine, the combo Vivid Weather + Vogue ENB Realism + Springtime trees + Grasslands is an interesting alternative. Also for those prefering the basic things and tweaking with Photoshop or others (because ReShade is a performance killer, yeah ! that's true. Naughty boy ReShade, you're not nice with the low-end PC !). They were my first mods, it's with them that I began, two years a go (AMD Athlon II X4 630, 4 Gb RAM and... Radeon HD 5770 ).

I recommend this combo for the beginners too. Easy to install, he help to be familiar with the world of mods and to start slowly in the screenarchery without to ruin your gaming experience.

P.S : DV, if you agree about that, feel free to stick my post, please. Or not, of course

Consider it stuck! For what it's worth, I do actually kind of disagree with your combo choices for new users, for three reasons: N, A, and C. NAC is so much better than any other lighting and weather mod out there, plus it has incredible screen-space adaptation tools that can imitate, and in some cases surpass, ENB effects with very minimal strain on the GPU. Ditch the Vivid (but keep their cloud textures, which are fantastic) and switch to NAC. Vogue is OK, but many newer ENBs offer better lighting, color grading, and options for depth-of-field, letterbox, etc. even in their 'lightweight' versions. A modern minimalist ENB that is similar but superior to Vogue would be l00ping's The Enhancer. But really, just use PRC or Film Workshop, both of which have lightweight install versions.

On the other hand, I'm with you on on both Springtime Trees and Grasslands. I often mix some of those green trees in with my conifers, and I'm currently rocking a patched combo of True Grass and Grasslands.

Fantastic theme! Even though I'm somewhat "out of gas" at the moment, just playing more relaxed oldschool RPG's and a few strategy games like Civilization VI", this theme certainly appeals to me. I'm glad to see I still have about ten days left before the deadline too, so I will try and make an effort for this theme. Not because it's required, but because I want to...

Superb images too! You're really in a league of your own with your screenart artistery since you came here to Nexus. Every time I see a batch of your marvels and try so hard to pick at least one or two favorites, to give you a hint of what I appreciate the most, but it's pointless since every collection is astonishing from first pic to last.

Thanks mate! I'd love to see what you put together for this one- but of course no pressure. I've also been a bit less productive in this medium myself of late. I ended up sitting out the last Skyrim theme, mostly on account of being distracted by Odyssey and its great capacity for being ReShaded into unrecognizability. Now that you mention it, I still need to throw together a reminder post for this theme; guess I'll rake the yard and see what I can pile together...

Awfully kind of you to say- thank you! I've been enjoying your recent batch of Skyrim landscape shots; if you ever wanted to join us here in the technical vastness of the future, your singular eye for detail would be most well received I'm sure.

Thank you! Sometimes with the colors and the shapes and the mood you just get lucky and the game throws something at you that you can't help but try to capture.
