I personally think you should keep main characters out of the art pipsy does, a bit immersion breaking seeing companions faces painted on walls. Using things like robots and creatures everybody sees in the wasteland makes more sense. But hey it's your mod
I appreciate the feedback, I hadn't anticipated that might negatively affect immersion. In fact it's intended to do the opposite. I have imagined Pipsy to be this very sly and worldly character who has been observing many of the goings-on in the Commonwealth undetected. So they know who's who, and they have observations (and even opinions, presumably) on a lot of the lore and characters. Most notably the high-profile ones, but not always. They may even have observed you, and are withholding judgment... This was my thinking. I've tried to keep immersion-friendliness and plausibility in mind all along. If this doesn't add up for you I'm definitely open to more input, I do appreciate it.
I get what your saying, maybe just the companions is bit much for my immersions, but father being in control of the institute is cool, reminds me of Dr Breen from hl2 plastered all over the walls. I like the direction and the idea of Pipsy being this ominous wastelander who no one knows just leaves his mark in places. High profile characters I'm definitely on board with as it makes sense.
