    Fantabulous shots, Erwin, and the music is lovely. No matter what circumstances humans are in, they always establish a home, no matter how temporary or mobile, even if they carry it with them in the form of tents or yurts or a piece of canvas to use as a tent, or just a piece of cardboard laid down on a sidewalk for the night.

      Thanks Pat,.. as I said to Judy (jumarbye) , I play this music often when I've been (to) busy. It actually revives and calms (atleast it does so for me,..)
      I could not agree more to idea of what home actually is,.. it's not alone the four walls we live in, but more importantly, how we feel inside of them. (whatever those four walls are)

    Ein bischen Licht und Wärme ... das bringt schon ein Gefühl von zu Hause. ... schöne Bilder. Das zweite vom Ende wirkt sehr romantisch Ein Baumhaus ist ein Kindertaum

      Dieses thema bringt sowas auch in einem hoch wenn mann an zu hause denkt. Das gilt jedenfalls fur mich.
      Es gibt leider zuviele wo das nicht so ist,..
      Ich hab in mein leben einmal so ein Baumhaus gebaut, zusammen mit mein vater. Schone erinnerungen

      I actually play this music when I've been to busy.
      I will sit down in the nice comfy chair in our house and then dream away.
      It actually revives me:)

    Nice selection! And beautiful pictures. Settlers scratching out a living, trying hard to make something for themselves, a lone tenuous shelter and a sturdily built, warm and cozy place - all different, but all the same - homes.

      Those were, more or less, my thoughts with the theme and these pics came out of it while traveling around.
      It's kinda cool to roam around the wasteland with the theme in your back of the head. You tend to look differently then,..
