The best praise I could get is if someone looks at my images and see the game as they'd love it to look like. Inspiration is the best motivation for just about anything. Lighting, shadows, motifs...they're all there in the game. The framing and composition is something you pick up as you look at other images and start to see the angles for yourself when in-game.
And yeah, aerial shots are neat to do and perfect training for framing, because you'd want to leave out a lot of clutter from the image, so there's a lot of moving around with the camera to find the sweetest angle. I should also tell you, these are all with the console camera, so no camera mods in use, just angles and FOV...
Appreciate the encouragement. I'm too old and stubborn to give up. Mistakes and constructive critique are the best teacher anyway.
A lot of terrific shots in this set - nice caps of the explosions!
Just as with Gunnar, she has a military background from before the nuclear cataclysm, and a reknown career within the army too. Faith isn't tired of the fighting at all though, in fact she loves it because she knows she's good at it. This might make her seem very violent and primitive, but those are abilities perfect for the wasteland. She's also a bit of a patriot and still holds the idea high of defending her homeland, so I'm guessing the Minutemen will be her perfect calling.
Explosions looked far better in game, but to my defense it was nighttime...and it rained...and I had a Deathclaw charging me!
Thanks, Judy!
This was a shorter walk in the direction we're "meant" to go, reaching Concord and meeting Preston for the first time. I did this on purpose, because I knew about the fight to come and I wanted to try a few more action-oriented shots. The weather made it hard though, being both night, rain and some moments of a radstorm blowing in from the Glowing Sea. I don't complain though, because it sure added tot he grim atmosphere.
Thank you!
I'm focusing on Skyrim this week though, but had a short break to upload this FO4 set, before I pile up too many of them. I've done that with Skyrim so many times, but with FO4 I'd like to keep it more clean and simple - not too many characters or sets all cluttered up. We'll see how that goes, right?!
And thank you of course for a lovely comment!
Two radstorms already and I've only made it from Vault 111 to Concord, since Faith is the first going in the actual direction of the main quest in my new batch of characters. I've walked this path once before though with my very first character a year back or so, but this time I did use the power armor for the Deathclaw fight. My first gal took him down with a rifle and some sniper tactics!
