Thanks, Patrick. Tore out all of the water features I added last night for during a rework to put back in the tree's and grass.

    cool shots! looks intriguing..
tried Northern Exposure but i have something conflicting cause when i would "fast travel" to it i would get a ctd everytime so deleted it cause i am running over 200 mods and do not want to try and figure out which one is the problem. i am getting lazy LOL

Thanks for the complement. Just like to make a post to chat with a few friends about mods and this comment is really why I hang on.
I doubt if 200 mods would be the problem, I have more, it does slow down load times for opening the workshop. As far as I know, Northern Exposure adds ten workshops and defines the build area. One thing that might cause conflict would be a portable workshop or a mod that changed the build area definitions. That would have been a good F4edit task for you. But since the crashing stopped, it sounds like removing Northern Exposure was the solution. Other solutions may have been a Bashed patch or just moving the load order around with LOOT.

Hi, Douglas! Great shots, I'll have to check out Northern Exposure, but I've already been playing with Sim Settlements since maybe April, and I think it's a lot of fun. Love seeing what they build--and I'm realllly impressed with the 3rd tier build of the city plan for Starlight Drive-In. And BYOB is one of my must haves, glad you're enjoying it, too.

Great of you to comment and nice to know you are using the Sim Settlement mod. I might like to see that Starlight build. Have been very careful to not mod that cell in case I want to use VOTW. The Sims experience just gets better and better. I always find something new, modders are doing some great things with it. I am very new at it, took a break to Skyrim and to learn MO but worth the time.
Also, rth119 has a dialog I have to answer about crashing with Northern Exposure, have to give my thoughts on that but the mod may be good for you.

I love playing with the pool mod. Ponds, lakes and waterfalls can be very easy, just a choice of location. Northern Exposure is great fun, leading one on a merry chase across the top of the map to find all the added settlements. I have 8 of the 10 at this point. Set up a simple start layout for the first settlers and move on. Likely will do this again with different textures.

Hi, Shelley. Good of you to comment here, it was your image post that called Sims to my attention last year. Has taken some time to learn to use it but well worth it. Dust Bowl is a very unique mod also but hard to get used to. I probably will only use it this once, really prefer a green game. This does give a very "wasteland" effect, as the author stated in the mod. Have a good one.

Looks like a very good way to radically change a play thru. Worth looking into.

It does change the way a person uses settlements. I loaded the Dust bowl early on in this play thru and am stuck with it. Really like a more lush game but this might be realistic from the post apocalyptic stand point. The water features are fun to make but I just got to a spot called Hawkes Pond, and it is great for a lakeside settlement.
