My mod config has developed a nasty habit of CTDing quite frequently, sometimes hours apart, sometimes every five minutes. Time of day doesn't seem to be a factor, neither is weather, location or enemies/creatures; most of the time crashes happen when entering an interior cell (rarely) or exiting to worldspace (quite frequent), at times when just running around in the worldspace, sometimes when picking up items; my quess is that it has something to do with loading cells or Papyrus (who am I kidding, it's always Papyrus).

Another issue was vertical sync. I have to run at a controlled 30 FPS.
I don't know anything about Papyrus so I'm no help there.
I've got Vsync on and settings could use optimization, personally I have a feeling that Amazing Follower Tweaks is part of the cell load crashes. Also, something is messing with junk placement, stuff like typewriters or teddy bears are turned 180 degrees I have no idea why, doesn't affect most items.
The Papyrus comment was a somewhat uncalled for joke at OLDrim's 32-bit Papyrus, due the buggy nature of it's memory management running any script mods on vanilla configured Papyrus had potential to cause CTD aplenty. Fallout 4 and Skyrim SE have a fixed 64-bit Papyrus engine that can handle pretty much anything you throw at it (except division by zero, why would you even do that you monster...)
