   @ Bennzoor - I wouldn't call him a Rat Slayer first class yet. I'm having fun writing the Blue-Piper dialogue. I hope I can continue to come up with some clever banter.
   
   @ Lee - Probably is a synth. I thought about giving him some silly dialogue, but the chapter was long enough already.
   
   @ Bernt - My interpretation of the DC Guards is that they aren't the sharpest tools in the box. What? Look in the mirror? lol. I found my mustache wax. It's been a long time since I grew a decent handlebar -- not sure I can anymore.
   
   @ wolf - Thanks, I tried to pick up on Piper's feisty behavior at the gate scene and Clayton is the Gary Cooper/Clint Eastwood type -- not a lot of words.
   
   @ V - Eating Guy was fun. I'll have to bring him back.
   
   @ blu377 - Don't worry, we'll hear from Travis soon enough. Someone could probably do a story about all the characters who are always just hanging around starting with "Always Eating in Front of the Dugout Guy".
   
   @ Culuf - Porous blindfold, maybe. But maybe, just could be Pyramid power. I just remembered that Neo is blind and blindfolded in Matrix III. Hmm...
   
   @ jacob - Travis may still have another day, if he lives long enough. Texture details -- Pyramid Power, yep, that's my secret. I'm using PRC enb and tweak it for every shot. Then I use photoscape for photo editing. Sharpening helps a lot - I prefer crisp over fuzzy in the foreground. I generally use a film filter -- mainly "Cinematic" for these shots as I recall.
   
   @ hammer - Thanks, that shot you mentioned was my fave. Thrax has maybe 8 or 10 smoking poses - all good.

   @ BlackMaid - Yep, Travis wanted to make some kind of statement -- we'll see.
   
   @ carnagefiend - Thanks. It took me a while to get PRC to a good place, more so than CFL. I'm still having some trouble with colors "changing colors" depending on the lighting.

   Man, those guards really are as corrupt as they come. I'm really digging the tone of the screenshots, though, they're clean and pretty balanced. I saw you mentioned using PRC, and I think it is working pretty strong for ya'!

   The story is taking on a life of its own. And, originally a sidebar but maybe to become the main thrust, Piper and Blue are getting to know one another. Blue seems pretty interested .
   Great pictures, too.

   What's that saying..."every dog has it's day" Must have been Travis' lucky day, but he'd hardly be able to claim the title of 'Rat Slayer' on dumb luck. I'm getting such a kick out of the Travis Chronicle and the budding romance (?) between Clayton and Piper. I'm stilled stunned at the texture detail you have in these images. Got to figure out how you achieve that.

   I saw through a Halloween "Death" costume once, where it was sheer enough inside to see out, but nobody could see in.
   I think that's what Travis's blindfold is made out of

    Travis definitely was lucky - let's see what happens to his fortune further.
    
    Thanks to Google, the city received a totem on which the molar is strung - now it will scare away other molars from the city.
