   as someone in the minority of people who actually likes the vanilla institute weapon aesthetic, MAN is this exciting to see. this looks great!!

      The aesthetic of the institute weapons are really cool, they're just so unimpressive regarding damage( not including mods, etc.)

      i really enjoy their look. to me, it feels appropriate to the whole "50's perception of the future" style of sci-fi, while still having a clean look. it's disappointing that they're so obviously meant to be auto-fire focused, based on their stats... i've been meaning to look into some mods that beef them up, but my current run isn't using energy weapons, so i haven't sweated it yet

      Damage per shot is better on the pre-war lasers. Damage per second is better for the Institute lasers.

      Too bad the way damage reduction works seems to favor using semi-autos.

   I think the rifle design for the Institute rifles is ugly, but nice job on the textures none the less.
