Can it be modded to shoot lasers or plasma? Or it's plasma-only? Also, will it consume fusion cells/plasma ammo or will it have something akin to Useful Crank?
Funny you should ask :) I plan to make it shoot, laser, plasma, and zetan shots. As per original creator *Jacob Becker* it will be a charging based weapon by default. Specifics of animated functions as followed: "Mechanism (closed) As the gun fires, the lock/cock/arm comes down and rises the frizzen up. Instead of a piece of flint, there will probably be a crystal. Not sure yet." "Reloading To reload, you squeeze the bar near the handle and it charges up the 3 canisters. The longer you hold it, the more canisters get filled. I wanted this gun to stay true to the long reload time that a flintlock has. It'll have one hell of a kick, though." Though I will see about making it similar to Useful Crank, except with my own custom script that will hide the ammo regardless if Bethesda changes the code again *Made certain HIDDEN ammo mods not show ammo capacity*
To be honest, It would make more sense to me if it just shot plasma since there isn't a lot of depth to plasma weapons in vanilla. I was thinking it would be cool if this was sort of like a plasma equivalent of the laser musket.
Hmm... Good point since it WAS based on hancock's original Pistol shown in concept art... Ooo, maybe adding different colored plasma could be a cool choice instead of alternate laser, tesla, etc.
