This seems really neat because it's like doing what you would normally need the CK for, but you can do it all in game. Fun!

Very true. I use hundreds of mods that were made in CK and then have the ability to place them any where in the game. Some rules as to where things should be but rules are meant to be broken when it comes to modding a game like this.

When I see your images, I have mixed feelings, I really want to install FO4 again (a year ago that is not on my PC), but on the other hand, I feel overwhelmed by the large number of mods I do not know... and because my PC is not very resistant. Anyway, for now I enjoy the images; I love this set... And those cute dogs, how did you get them?

I do understand your hesitation. Best judgement is to be respected. Besides that, these are just some shots, nothing special. I forced myself to turn off the menus and snap, snap, snap. As Fabrisio mentioned a while back, we sometimes become our own worst critic. I find that pleasant content negates that problem.
The dogs are from a nice mod that added a follow and gives the option to have Dogmeat retextured also. Mods name is Shadow, I believe.

Thanks for the information. I would love to have two dogs if I play again!

I haven't tried out sim settlement either, despite being really excited about it when it came out. I might do a new game too since I have several mods already that benefit from a restart...

Hey, great of you to comment here. I like the variety of Sims and though I am still at the settlement being worked, I spend more time with the settlers and less in the build menu.
You might get a notification on this, so I have to say I love the Pinup Outfit you gave us. It's just the right amount of skimpy for me.
Since I am putting faces on unique settlers (that's a fine mod) I am going to try your presets also.

Thanks, I'm glad you like the outfit! I'm working on additional clothing pieces for it so you may see some updates in the future...

Be sure to get the mod that makes local npc's available as leaders so they can run the settlements without you.

I like to have control but would like to do one where the leader is not me. Have only been using this a few months and have not had any good results with it on auto. I have noticed the slew of Leader/Mayor mods lately.

I never tried to build something in FO ... for this reason I don't understand about what you speak exactly, but your settlement looks teasing and I like your idea to give every settler individual outfits and weapons...
Interesting showcase of the rebuild of your game ... I think, it's very time consuming

Building is not for every one. You may get a taste of it with the quests. So you understand of what I speak, go to the Red Rocket where you met Dog meat and activate the workshop in the garage. The settlement menu will appear for you. There are a 1057 mods listed in the Nexus category for that menu, many may be listed incorrectly. Sims is at the bottom with at least forty add-ons that appear in the same menu. It is very time consuming, Heike.
Load order is coming back fast with mod tracking and history. I try to track the ones I like best so they are easy to find. Choices, choice and more choices.

Lots of stuff to experiment with.I haven't considered installing Sim Settlements - but I'd like to know about your experience with it from time to time. The color changers is a good thing. Sometimes you just want to brighten or saturate/de-saturate a scene.

Agree totally on the color saturation. Probably can be done in ENB GUI but I never learned how. Some kind of magic. As for sims,If you have Conquest mod you might try a single, out of the way spot but it might tax your load order to much.
I doubt it would make writing any easier but the Unique Settler mod could be very helpful. In this new game I already have eight unique settlers that can be consoled in for a quick use on stage, then sent back to wherever. Of course it is possible to get way to many Jojo's.
