For the last few days I've been trying to create a new variation of a Color Changer item which enhances colors not to look exotic but to look like what to me is pretty. The last couple of sets, including this one, have a setting I think I'll keep, but I need to see it in more environments to be sure.
The photos are not altered with paint programs, and they don't have ENBs or reshade. it's simply an in-game Image Space Adaptor setting I've been trying to develop.
I like al your pics, but this stands out for movement, cutout and lightening
Thanks so much!
I like the colors, especially the daytime/evening sky and the golden yellow of the dried grass.
Recently went on the expedition with Bobbi No Nose and noticed for the first time that mirelurks are more colorful than I thought. The mirelurks in these pics have accentuated that. Not sure if they're too bright for me, though. I do like the warm interior tones - just the right color for lanterns, candles and old incandescent bulbs. (Makes me think. I wonder where all the light bulbs in the Commonwealth are manufactured? If the supply is composed of what's left over from before the bombs, they should be much more valuable and I better stop scrapping them. )
P.S. The expressions in those last pics are great. Do you use some kind of expression mod?
P.P.S. Nice catch on the shotgun shell ejection.
I've still got work to do on the lighting. I'm hoping the final version won't bleed light so much when it's bright
As for expression mods, no, I don't use body poses or expression mods. Those are the genuine vanilla expressions which Fable and Phyllis had during their conversation. Phyllis actually had several wonderful expressions, but I didn't want to spam people with two many photos like that so stuck to the ones which conveyed resolution
It's something which has been nagging at me for ages. Usually for each screen shot I take I try two or three different color changer settings to see which I like. But I've for a while wanted to figure out one single setting which I like without swapping around. I'm not there yet, but the process itself is kind of fun.
I'm pretty happy with the colors so far, but I agree the light is bleeding when there is brightness. It's a slow process testing and tweaking, but I have some ideas on what to change. The final version is still a ways off. (Even the next set, which you haven't seen yet, will still have some bleeding.)
It's neat you noticed the shotgun. Although Fable worked up the skill points for the shot gun damage, she has not yet worked up the quick reload skill, and that thing took forever to load after each shot or two *Laughs*
I think it was the funnest battle she's had against that queen, and there have been at least fifteen play throughs against her :)
Less really is more. I favor agility over physical protection every time, as the point is to not get hit.
I see you share my view in this regard. :-)
That now reminds me of an audiobook I listened to recently called "Dungeon Born" for which the main character is a dungeon (similar to the old AD&D dungeons).
There's another character in the book who starts with heavy armor and mace but eventually switches to no armor (just clothes) and fist wraps (ala monk class).
Post Script: I do confess that Fable died in the first battle and broke her arm in the second battle, but she had fun :)
