This is an image from a FO4 mod I'm working on called Weapon Addition and Replacement Suite (WARS).

This is the vanilla ".44 Pistol" - just given its real-world name.
When I came across these pictures from Beverly Hills Cop II while looking for other reference images for WARS, I knew I wanted to include something like it. It's one of the reasons I originally made the LPC Laser Sight for the Mini-14.
Here it is on the S&W M29. Since I already had the LPC Laser Sight (finest in 1980s laser technology) and could use the vanilla scope mount, I just had to make the backup iron-sights and put the pieces together.
Incidentally; in the base game there are actually three separate variants of this weapon; the standard .44 Pistol, a basically identical clone found in certain areas added by Nuka-World, and the "Western Revolver" also added by Nuka-World. WARS condenses these into one weapon (built on the standard .44 Pistol) and makes all weapon mods that were previously restricted to one variant or another all available on this one weapon.
(If you obtain one of the two deprecated variants - e.g. via another mod spawning them somewhere - they should still work, but may not have the full complement of weapon mods.)

I plan to add an M1911 to WARS later on, and it will be possible to configure it to resemble the iconic gun from that movie.
Apparently isathar has managed to increase the speed of functions like those in the pending update to AmmoTweaks, though.
Full disclosure, though; I'm an Australian computer nerd; I've never so much as touched a real firearm. I just do my research, that's all.
