Casting my vote for radio and radiation meter.

Question, how will the animation for this be done for opening up the vault doors?

I would say a mascot, when i think about old pip-boy this little guy always comes to mind first. It would look a bit plain without him and logo.

I personally think tat its important because of immersion like hearing a Geiger counter when yo device has non and then magically turning on a radio with no tuning they're minor ik but it'd be a shame if this came out without being as good as it can be

    Personally, I do not care.
Did this model have a built-in radio in lore? If the answer is "no," then you can make a model that looks like a modified one. Well, you know, in an artisanal way.
And yes, it looks very promising.
