Brief overview / installation / load order:
("NextGen" see end of page)

For this to work, you need Outfits Workbench and you will need RobCo Patcher
(Don't forget Address Library for F4SE Plugins as it is needed for Robco Patcher)

Spoiler:
Show

Please install these first and make sure, everything is running fine.
(Of course DO MAKE A FULL SAVE BEFORE ADDING ANY MOD)
Although, these two mods are VERY unlikely to cause any harm to your game. But better safe than.... you know

Load order should not matter,
since we are talking about FOSE plug-ins and 1 workshop item.

I do recommend for MO2 users to put Address Lib, Robco Patcher and all
other FOSE plug-ins at the very beginning/on top of your load order
(directly after DLC Mains, LEFT window)  just to have them all together,
easy to find and out of the way.

Same goes for the OutfitWorkbench.esp, just smack it near your other workshop items for ease of navigation.

I will update this page with some user advice and more info as soon as I survived the 1st upload :)

If everything is set up appropriately, you will be able to move crafting
recipes OUT OF THE CHEM WORKBENCH and into the the new buildable item Outfits Workbench. And vice versa if necessary.

From my testing, there is no risk at all...:

a) installing RobCo and Outfits Workbench
Spoiler:
Show
For testing I threw them willy-nilly into a 500+ modlist on a laptop
with zero side effects and working as expected for weeks now

b) installing 1 or more of my (or any) plug-ins even without actually having the outfit installed
Spoiler:
Show
RobCo is checking if the outfit is installed/active and ignores if not

c) deleting one or more of my plug-ins  (NOT the esp of the main mod!)
Spoiler:
Show
outfit will just reverse to original origin (i.E. into the chem
workbench) RobCo is checking the plug-ins on start-up, if they not there
no changes will be made.
Same goes for broken plug-ins so far, will just be ignored and no changes.

BUT to be safe, ALWAYS go back to a former save if you change anything!

And before you ask:

As soon as RobCo Patcher is ready to go for NextGen, I see no problem for Outfits Workbench to run NG as well.

But as of now (09.03.2025)

You WILL NEED Fallout 4 - 1.10.163 (PRE - NG)
to run it without issues.

As far as I understood is Robco Patcher for NG quite experimental at the moment

You have been warned, try RobCo at your own risk on NG     :)
(If you are an experienced and adventures modder, there you go for testing, bug squashing and feedback :)))))
