Fallout 4

Original settlers beach combed resources to cobble together a defendable area. Using beached barges carrying shipping containers they found refuge from the coastal weather. Vulnerable to Super Mutant attacks from the south and Raiders from the north they had to be tough. Over time the area has grown into a vital food trading center.

This is follow on upload from my first effort with Starlight Drive In Trading Hub And Settlement. This one similarly makes use of the resources that were available. (I literally picked up everything, logs, boats, even rocks, and used them to form the initial barricade.)

In all my playthroughs of this game I have never done anything with this settlement. I think its a horrible place to build.  That made it a perfect location to take on as a challenge to try and come up with something that not only functions but could be interesting to explore. With so many fantastic mods available I felt like I had the tools to give it a go. Working with the shipping containers was a real challenge. They create insanely narrow spaces to work with. Hopefully npcs will path successfully but I don't make any promises. :)

There are over 1,200 objects used in making this settlement. I do not experience any noticeable frame rate drops in the area. I mention below that the Better Stores mod does not appear to be downloadable. If you don't have it already and can't get it then you may have to add some additional food resources. This settlement uses two fishing boats and a butcher station from that mod.  Shouldn't be a big issue but I'm mentioning it because I don't want to disappoint anyone.
One additional note. This settlement uses some fairly long powerlines.  No specific mod is listed to make sure that you can connect longer than vanilla powerlines. Mine work because I run the War Never Changes mod. If you do have an issue. Place a couple of extra connectors or download one of the several mods specifically designed to extend the ridiculously short vanilla powerline limits.

There will be many mods listed in the required section. The ones that relate to structures I'd say are obviously essential.  The ones that are more for decoration perhaps not so much.  I do love all the mods that are listed. They really give the variety of choices needed to make something like this. I don't have issues or conflicts with them. But I do manually override Loot's load order by making sure that all Workshop Rearranged related entries are below all other workshop mods.

Any pictures to go along with that interesting little backstory. I for one would like to see them, but it sounds good as far as it goes.
