Vortex Support for Monster Hunter World

  • Comment
Good news for our Monster Hunter World community!

Ever since the release of the most recent version, our mod manager Vortex (which is currently in beta) now supports Monster Hunter World. If you are unsure about what a mod manager does, let me put it this way: Vortex gives you the ability to install and uninstall mods easily, keep track of managed mods, and stay organised by keeping your game directory clean. The idea is to help you spend less time worrying about mod files, so you have more time to enjoy your modded game.

You might have noticed the new Vortex download button on several MHW mod pages which allows you to download mods through Vortex (if you have Vortex installed and configured):

If you would like to try out Vortex with Monster Hunter World, or if you have any questions, feel free to view our Vortex documentation, or ask your questions in our Vortex Support Forums directly.

Happy modding, and happy hunting!

Doesn't do anything. Everything looks fine in Vortex, the game satays untouched. Have to install everything manually.

I installed and enabled a mod through VORTEX, but only find the mod files in the File Manager folder, not in the game folder.

I also found this. Am I using Vortex incorrectly?

Same issue for me. I suppose it will be fixed in a future update...

Not too many people are excited about Monster Hunter World, apparently.

I can't manage MHW mods from Vortex's interface, it doesn't even show in the compatible games list

Nevermind, it just doesn't look for subfolders (i have the steamlibrary folder inside the general games folder)

Edit: No, i didn't see the "Edit post" button before replying to my own comment
