About this mod

This download comtaines 2 .esp files. Combat and TougherEnemies. First affect Weapons mostly, second affects enemy special attacks.

MrSlackPants-Combat.esp:
This one actualy changes quite a few things. First of all, every weapon in the game has their damage slightly increased. I didn't go to extrme yet, since i have to test it out more. Many weapons have had their spread reduced and their effective range increased. I tried to have it that pistols generaly have a shorter range than assault rifles. Sniper rifles have a lot more range now as well. Also some weapons have had their zooming increased, As a note, this mod will affect all normal weapons as well as the unique weapons. However this mod does NOT affect enemy weapons and follower unique weapons. I made those into a seperate mod. (MrSlackPants-TougherEnemies)

Your accuracy in an untrained weapon will be horrible. When you point your gun somewhere and pull the trigger, you'll basicly shoot everything that's behind you. (Maybe not THAT bad, but you'll get the idea) However by the time your skill is 100 you'll be able to shoot exacly where you point. (tested mainly with the laser rifle)
Weapon condition really has an effect now on performance. The worse the weapon condition is the more spreading there will be and the more prone to jamming a weapon is. I tried to find a go-between for annoyance and "realism". So in practice i should have it spo that it shouldn't jam too often as long as the weapon is in decent condition. (I'm thinking about 50% here)

Weapon damage is also more dependant on skill.

I also really didn't like the home-made weapons. Imo they where much, much too weak in vanilla. Basicly I loved the railway rifle, but i never used it cause it was too weak. Now it's actualy a nice weapon to use at higher levels. The deathclaw is a viable melee weapon now as well.

Another thing to note is that the scoped magnum has been downgraded a lot as well. WAY too overpowered in vanilla. Imo it shouldn't do more damage then the laser rifle for example.

Since i saw a couple mods that fixed the pyromaniac and demolition perks i decided to also put them in this mod as well.


I really tried to make it so that if you don't have skill you suck with a certain weapon type, but if you do have the skill you will be able to hit exacly where you point. I hope i succeeded there. :)

In all honesty, the itle of this mod is a bit misleading atm. The enemies aren't tougher as it is now, but their weapons and attacks will be. untill then this mod compliments my other mod. (MrSlackPants-Combat)

As soon as i know where to find health values and asuch ill go around and change the enemies themselves. Maybe also more enemies that spawn at certain locations as well. But that will be for another realease.

Just to avoid confusion though, this mod ONLY touches special attacks, not weapons themselves. For example the plasma attack from Mr. Gutsy and the centaur spit is affected, but not the assaultrifle.

Also changed are enemy class special stats. Making them hopefully a little bit tougher.

You´ll also receive much, much more limbdamage in this mod. So now, you might actualy have limbs disabled sometimes. ;)
