About this mod

This mod expands the Outcast Collection Agent quest. Protector Casdin now accepts more high-tech items (including those added by the DLCs) and the player can choose from a larger list of rewards. Also, Protector Casdin\'s trust is a lot harder to attain now, but the rewards make more than up for it!

The following items can now be turned in for rewards:

You can now choose from six new rewards which will be unlocked as you continue to gain Protector Casdin's trust:

1) 5mm Ammo
2) Pulse Grenades
3) .308 Ammo
4) Flamer Fuel
5) .44 Magnum Ammo
6) Missiles

Not all of these rewards will be available for all the technology. Missiles, Pulse Grenades, .44 Magnum Ammo and Flamer Fuel are reserved for the most valuable/rare items! Most of the MISC items do not qualify for any but the 4 original rewards.

You will also have the option to turn in some items all at once:

Sensor Unit*
Stealth Boy
Scrap Metal*

†in groups of 8
*with the new diminishing rewards feature, not the rewards, but the group-size rises for these items (e.g. scrap metal group-size starts at 2 and rises as you turn in more)

Furthermore, earning Protector Casdin's trust itself now nets better rewards as well, but is increasingly difficult to earn:

1) Protector Casdin will get the word out that you are regarded as a friend of the Outcasts and should be treated accordingly.
2) He will give you the key to Fort Constantine, which you are then allowed to enter with his permission.
3) If you prove yourself worthy, Protector Casdin will train you in the use of power armor ...
4) ... and maybe even give you one of the Outcasts' very own power armor suits!

Install
=======
1. Select ONE of the two plugins provided.
2. Copy the .ESP you selected to (install folder)\Fallout3\Data\
3. Start FOMM, place a checkmark beside the .ESP file.

1. Delete the .esp file from \Fallout3\Data\

Compatibility Info

This mod will obviously conflict with any mod that modifies the Outcast Collection Agent quest or the two Fort Independence doors.
Fully compatible with Fallout Wanderer's Edition (FWE). Minor incompatibilities with FOOK.

Known Issues or Bugs
====================
No voice audio for some of the new options, due to GECK limitations, still working on fixing that in one of the next versions.
If you find any bugs, please let me know and I'll fix them ASAP!
Same goes for balancing, if you have any suggestions for further balancing, don't hesitate to contact me!

Reworked rewards list: Missiles, Pulse Grenades, .44 Magnum Ammo and Flamer Fuel are now reserved for the most valuable/rare items
Rewritten most of the scripts to be easier adjustable for future balancing
Scrapped the 5/10/25 options, since they were hardly useful
Further balancing, adjusted all rewards as well as most items' points
Edited both Fort Independence doors to require the key Protector Casdin gives the player

Container to store all items collected (no "easy" pickpocketing of collected items anymore!)
Voice audio (still working on a way to add vanilla voice files without having to copy them, but no luck so far)
Further balancing to counteract the availability of the new technology options as well as the newly implemented diminishing rewards
More diversified rewards for gaining Protector Casdin's trust, suggestions welcome!
Two tier access to Fort Independence, lvl1 access to the main floor after you gained a little trust, lvl2 access to the lower levels as well as maybe the armory after you have fully gained his trust!
