Takes my redesigned plasma weapons to the next level by fixing their game stats, add proper reload sound for pistol including custom jamming animation and cleaned the projectile effects for better aim.

They both consume twice the ammo to balance their tremendous power now.
The pistol shoots faster than the rifle (and slightly larger clip to compensate), while the rifle was mostly untouched and is still noticably better than the pistol.

The visuals of projectiles are more like energy balls instead of blobs that cover the entire screen. They also leave larger parallex impact on surfaces (like the shotgun), rather than just burns.

* Having a plasma pistol prior to installing this mod might cause issues with reload animations - simply drop and pick up your plasma pistol back, it should fix this for the rest of the game.
* If you have zeta DLC and get no reload sound for the Novasurge, download the fix by lordsoulstrike.
* I recommend using a mod that balances laser weapons as well. (as they were underpowered in vanilla)

1. Unzip it in Data folder
2. Start Fallout 3 Launcher, click 'Data Files', place a checkmark beside the .esp file you want.
3. Make sure you have have "bInvalidateOlderFiles=1" in your FALLOUT.ini file.
(which is usually in the "my games" directory in drive C)
4. If you already had plasma pistol before installing the mod, and have issues reloading simply drop and pick your plasma pistol, it should work fine after that for the rest of the game.
