Description: -=-=-=-=-=-=-=- 1. If you have the key to a house (Tenpenny or Megaton), and have unlocked the door to it, you can fast travel directly to the inside of the house. This means you no longer end up in the streets of Megaton or at the gate of Tenpenny when you fast travel to them.
2. Lucas Simms has the key to the Megaton house on him. Diffuse the bomb in Megaton, rob him, kill him, or get it from his dead body. Buy house themes as you normally would from Moria.
3. Burke has the key on him for the Tenpenny Suite. Blow up Megaton, rob him, kill him, or get it from his dead body. Buy house themes as you normally would.
4. If you have the Tenpenny key the gate guard at Tenpenny will let you right in.
5. Roy Philips has the Ghoul Mask on him. Help him in to Tenpenny, rob him, kill him, or get it from his dead body.
6. If you get the Ghouls in to Tenpenny (the "good" route) they will not kill the residents after you leave. This prevents them from killing the shopkeepers.
Installation -=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Extract .esp file and put it in your Fallout 3 data folder. From there add it to your load order with FOMM.
Thoughts -=-=-=-=-=-=-=- I themed this after the idea of the good, bad, and ugly (thievery). The way you take is still up to you. If you follow the quests as they are you also receive EXP, Karma, and caps.
I'm not totally happy with disabling MS12Fin (where the ghouls kill everyone in Tenpenny). A better route would be to add a ghoul shopkeeper or something. Dunno. I'm open to suggestions btw.
Bugs -=-=-=-=-=-=-=- There could be some. I've tested this out a bit but I can't claim there aren't any bugs. I tried to keep the quest flow intact as much as possible. There may be issues with other mods that change the houses as I tried to move the player just a bit from the front door.
Change Log -=-=-=-=-=-=-=- 0.2 -
(a.) Fixed bug where Robot Butlers would not talk to player. If you used the prior version you can enable this by going to the console (type `) and typing "startquest 7f47a".
(b.) Removed the possibility of a "double give" if you have already pick pocketed a key or the mask from a npc and they later try to give it to you.
Final ------- Found bug some people reported. It was caused by a fix in 0.2. Now there should be no problem with getting keys to houses as expected.
