Come on people, this mod has gotten well over 100 downloads and not one single comment. You know a simple "Thank you" would at least be nice.

--------------~Version 2.0~--------------

Please do not leave comments critisizing medal/ribbon inaccuricies!

--------------~WELCOME~--------------

Welcome to Militant Autumn Version 2.0

In the beginning this retexture was inspired by Bethesda's own Vanilla Texture of the Wasteland Legend Outfit.

What it does: It's a detailed Military-esque retexture of Colonel Autumn's Coat that replaces the Vanilla Colonel Autumn Coat.

You have 3 choices to choose from in 2 categories.

Categories are: Informal and Formal
Each Category contains 3 colors: Military Green, Military Blue, and Military Black.

I've also included a separate optional download that gives the Colonel an eye patch, I gave him an eye patch because that I felt it not only tied the new outfit together, but it also goes along with my notion that he's been through a whole lot in his rise to Colonel, and I find it hard to believe that he wouldn't gain some battle scars during this time.

--------------~IMPORTANT TECH STUFF~--------------

Important Change! Due to how the original Vanilla's Mesh was made, to conserve disk space Bethesda mirrored the coats left arm texture. To the naked eye everything looks normal, but place a logo on the left arm such as the letter "E", and the logo will be mirrored on the right arm and will display backwards, looking like a "3". In order to remedy this problem, the outfitm.nif was altered using nifskope. The textures belonging to the arms now point to 2 new .dds files named Arms.dds. and Arms_n.dds. In order for this mod to work correctly, you must replace your original Colonel Autumn outfitm.nif with my new modified .nif, and use the arms.dds files.

Operation Anchorage Problem! Due to the nature of the new modified Colonel Autumn outfitm.nif, the coat that General Chase wears in Operation Anchorage will no longer display correctly unless you download my fix and activate the MA2 General Chase Fix.esp that I am providing.

^Important Note: This mod may conflict in the same fashion as the Operation Anchorage Problem with any other mod's or DLC/Expansions introduced in the future that use the original Colonel Autumn outfitm.nif. I do plan on releasing Fixes for any future DLC/Expansions that may use the original outfitm.nif, but I do NOT have plans to release fixes for other people’s mods that create new objects using the original outfitm.nif.

--------------~INSTALLATION~--------------

Pick a Category and Color and Unzip to the data folder in your fallout 3 directory

If you want Colonel Autumn to have an Eye patch, download and Extract Colonel_Eyepatch.esp to your Data folder and check the .esp in your load order.

If you have Operation Anchorage Installed, download my fix and Extract MA2_General_Chase_Fix.esp to your Data folder and check the .esp in your load order.

--------------~REASON FOR THIS MOD~--------------

I always felt that Colonel Autumn was meant to be a major bad ass, he'd have to be in order to be the high rank he is in the Enclave, and to have survived in the wastes as long as he has. I felt that it would be fitting to give his coat a makeover by adding medals and achievements that he may have acquired during his rise in rank.

I also thought that a man of his type would be war-hardened and know how to survive, his quick thinking and survival skills are demonstrated during the FMV sequence when he meets your dad, pay close attention and you'll notice that he sticks himself with a Rad-X needle moment before the climax of the scene.

--------------~CREDITS~--------------

I myself take full credit for the retexturing of the .dds files, but I would like to thank Baelkin who without his help this project wouldn't have turned out as nice as it did. I hit a huge snag with the arms mirroring logos, and Baelkin schooled me in nifskope on the hack I used to get it properly working. He denied taking partial credit for this mod stating, "As for credit, it's not really necessary. I wouldn't accept credit for showing someone how to use a hammer either. :D", but regardless he has my deepest thanks.

Thank you again Baelkin.

--------------~REDISTRIBUTION~--------------

As far as the textures go, contact me and ask for permission if you intend to re-color, redistribute, etc.
