This mod makes the Mechanist's Forge a little more suitable for use as a player house once the Mechanist / Antagonizer quest has been completed.

Installation:

Unzip all files to your Data directory & subs - activate the mod & you're good to go.

This mod makes the Mechanist's Forge more suitable for use as a player house once the Mechanist / Antagonizer quest has been completed.

The mod makes some significant changes to the Robot Repair Centre and Mechanist's Forge just above Canterbury Commons
so if you've done this quest already or you're already using these (INTERIOR) locations for your player home, you might need to go back to a previous save / start a new game - Canterbury Commons itself & surrounding exterior cells haven't been changed.

I've done my best to ensure that quest-related stuff hasn't been messed with - no guarantees here as it's my 1st mod but I'm 99.99% sure.

There's a dead Protectron in the Forge itself (the room where you find the Mechanist) that I haven't removed - it's got all kinds of quest-related things attached to it (see above point) - if you get bored of looking at it feel free to 'Disable' from the console once you've finished the quest.

MOST of the regular player house items are present, there's no juke-box (there are 2 radios tuned to GNR tho' - they just seemed to fit in better) - maybe next time...

I've left it pretty basic - you won't find 'all the loot & ammo a player could possibly wish for' in this mod - the idea is that you bring your loot back & put it on display.


I always thought The Forge is real cool location so the player-house stuff is distributed throughout the building - don't expect to find everything in one room.

There are a few "new" items in the mod besides Malo's Animated Aquarium (and it really IS a moi toy):

1 new unique item & 1 new ultra-rare item.

1 new Apparatus-thingy (easily spotted)

Nothing game-breaking or ground-breaking here & all I'm saying is if you can't find a Workbench, there's plenty of them downstairs in 'Sector A' - they don't look like the regular house-mod workbenches - I attached the script to 'SG001' clones of existing furniture to try & keep the atmosphere of the place.
