Edits some characteristics of Point Lookout weapons and adds in a new unique Double-Barreled Shotgun (and scoped Backwater Rifle). Read long description for details.

Permissions and credits
As usual, my caveat for all my files. I inevitably screw up and get file paths wrong or forget to upload relevant files, so if anything doesn't work let me know and I'll fix it ASAP.

CURRENT VERSION: 1.41. Attaches an offset scope to the Backwater Rifle (offset so it doesn't interfere with the existing iron sights and ejection port) and reduces its spread from 0.25 to 0. Also includes darker textures and new sounds for all lever-action rifles (textures modified by me, see credits list for everything else) - now it's one hell of a fun sniping weapon. Also tightened double-barrel shotgun spread a bit and fixed The Messenger's pipboy icon path.


VERSION HISTORY:

1.3. Made the Messenger's barrels slightly longer and toned down the knockback effect so it doesn't send things soaring into the horizon. It'll knock enemies back slightly from a distance, and send them careening several yards if you empty it into them point-blank. Also toned down the non-unique Lever-Action Rifles' crit multiplier and replaced the Microwave Emitter's Mesmetron Cell texture with the Energy Cell texture (doesn't seem to be working in 1st-person view for some odd reason, but hey).

1.2. Fixed world placement of The Messenger, and added in a new mesh for The Messenger hacked together from the Sawn-off and Double-barrel meshes. It still has some problems (shells not showing while reloading, muzzle flash not displaying, second metal band sticking out), so I'd really appreciate it if a modder more competent than me could give the .nif a look over and see if they can fix those problems. Thanks!

This mod just does a few tweaks for Point Lookout weapons.

- makes the Microwave Emitter run on Small Energy Cells instead of Microfusion Cells (given it uses the Mesmetron model and reload anims) and sets it to be repairable with Laser Pistols.
- adds Hunting Rifles to the Lever-Action Rifle repair list, as well as jacking up the Backwater Rifle's item hp, value and critical damage a bit (I know, it's already pretty powerful, but I just want it to be able to one-shot glowing ones instead of leaving them with one teensy bar of health).
- adds Sawn-off Shotguns to the Double-Barrel Shotgun repair list, and makes them fire 15 pellets instead of 9 (seeing how they fire two shells instead of one). Also puts in a new double-barreled shotgun sound courtesy of TheDamned's sound mod, since I felt the vanilla one was underwhelming to say the least.
- adds a unique Double-Barrel Shotgun called The Messenger, which can be found in the Naval Recruitment Center where a regular shotgun was in the vanilla game. Does slightly more damage, has a tighter spread, double crit chance, and knocks down/sends things flying on a critical.


One request: If anyone could make a shorter-barreled version of the double-barrel shotgun I could use as a model for The Messenger, please let me know! I tried hacking together the sawn-off barrel and the double-barreled buttstock/trigger in NifSkope, but it just looks weird since the sawn-off barrel is just a tiny bit narrower, and the muzzle flash doesn't come from the front of the gun but somewhere in the middle. Ideally I'd like the barrel length to be like just a bit longer than the sawn-off - probably an easy task for someone more apt in 3d modelling programs than I am. I'd REALLY appreciate the help.
