Summary
************************

This mod adds a cooking perk, called Chef Extraordinaire. When you find a holodisk at a certain location you also get recipes for 9 different dishes, which you can cook using an (working) Oven. This mod only requires the original, no DLC's needed.

WARNING:
This mod contains mild explicit language. But in case you can't handle this, why are you playing Fallout 3 anyway? But still, obligatory warning.

Installation
************************

Copy the contents of the .zip folder containing this readme to the Data folder in:
C:/Program Files/Bethesda Softworks/Fallout 3/

Make sure you select 'Yes' when prompted about the 'textures' folder already existing, to add the files to it. If this map doesn't exist yet, it will be pasted.

Check the mod in the load list of the FOMM, or just the Data Files menu at the autorun window incase you don't have the FOMM yet.

How to get/use the perk
************************

There is a new Holodisk somewhere in the Wastes; Finding it and picking it up grants you the perk and immediately adds all recipe notes to your inventory. These notes can then be read in the Notes section of your PipBoy, and list all the ingredients needed for a dish.

Once you have the perk you should find an Oven. The only Oven not affected by the mod is the Unique one, every other Oven works. If this Oven still has a Pilot Light a menu will pop asking you which dish you want to make. You can select anything, but a dish will only be created if you have the proper ingredients. Clicking 'Open Oven' will just open the container, in case you want to loot it instead of cook on it.

If the Oven misses it's Pilot Light you will be prompted to repair it. This requires a Repair skill of 40 and a Pilot Light in your inventory. When you have all this you can repair it and it will be available for cooking again.

The dishes you can cook all have strong effects. Aside from the usual healing effect, they can boost SPECIAL-stats for a while, heal Crippled Limbs and increase your Carry Weight, temporarily ofcourse. These special effects last long enough for an average daily game session, which is an average of 2 in-game days, not including wait-time.

Conflicts
***********************

This mod will most certainly conflict with any other mod adding a script to the Clean/Dirty Ovens. Those are the only vanilla items affected, so any other mods should be fine.

Being in the cell where the Holodisk is can cause problems, so without spoiling anything I can say it's best to be outside.

Uninstallation
***********************

In case you want to get rid of the mod, this is what you should do:

1. Load your latest savegame.
2. Open up the console.
3. Type the following lines, pressing Enter after each one:

player.RemovePerk XX000EA6
set MMChefPerkActivated to 0

Where XX represents the load order index of this mod, as seen in the FOMM.

4. Save the game.
5. Exit the game.
6. Uncheck this mod in the FOMM/Data Files.
7. Open up the game again.
8. Load the latest save.
9. Save the game.

That will remove any effects of the mod.

Spoilers
***********************

In case you want to get the perk faster, scroll down for a more precise location.

The Holodisk is on one of the tables in the room in the Anchorage Memorial Service Entrance with the three Fridges and the single Mirelurk, on the lowermost level.

Happy cooking!
