About this mod

A simple mod that attempts to replicate real-world damage levels for every weapon in the game. Now with Classic Fallout Weapons compatability

Permissions and credits
I am aware that there are several damage mods available already, I made this for myself but figured I would share it with those who may enjoy it.

Lethal Adventures attempts to replicate the damage you would likely experience in the real world. The baseline was a 10mm pistol shot to the head of an average unarmored NPC - should be letal right? Using this, I proceeded to adjust every weapon to a level comparable to this.

In most cases this meant x2 to x3 the amount of damage of the vanilla game. Some weapons were only slightly increased, (pool cue, rolling pin, shotguns ect) while others were greatly increased (railway gun, ripper, swords, machine guns). My reasoning for this was that if someone is facing off with you with a minigun, ak47, or a homemade spike-shooting rifle.... you're pretty much done so let's not beat around the bush.

However, the same can now be said for armor. If you wear street clothes, a bikini, or any other non-armoring costume you will likely die - plain and simple. However, if you're decked out in a full metal suit powered by a reactor, well you'll be able to take quite a few hits. So now you have a choice - you can look stylish and comfortable as raiders chop you up, or you can put on that heavy, beastly suit and rip them up instead.

So far, this is just a beta version and as I play through the game I will adjust things as necessary. All comments and suggestions are greatly appreciated.

*Update* Compatability with the Classic Fallout Weapons mod added

-Currently, some mines and other explosive weapons have not been properly adjusted

Personal Experience:

I always imagined the wasteland would be a fun and exciting place... however, using this mod, Advanced Crippling Effects, Triage, and Real Injuries - basic needs.... one can really feel what a horrible and hopeless place the wasteland is.

Always hungry or thirsty yet forced to eat poisoned food and drink poisoned water. No money and scarce supplies, everyone trying to gouge my cash (and eyes) I mean I don't even have place to sleep that won't break my wallet!

I recall the slow, crippled walk back from that school near Megaton after my first real encounter with a Raider.... hoping I would not meet anyone else on the way back to the doctor. And the clearing out the school was a slow and painful process with heart-attacks at every turn.

For those of you who want a very challenging and realistic game, I implore you to try these sets of mods. When 1-3 bullets can take you down and keep you down while your're starving, crippled and thirsty... you stay on your toes.
