Sorry, but how do you use this? Up until now, I've been using Nexus mod manage for mods but have no idea how to install mod into this manager. Can someone please help?
Vortex will not properly install mods with multiple options, that are intended as manual installation only. If they are packaged as a FOMod file, then Vortex should install properly, but FOMM (and its extensions) will properly handle a FOMod file.
Same issue as quite a few people here but still haven't seen an answer. Trying to load updated unofficial patch through the package manager, it is locally installed, hits me with System.OutOfMemoryException after i click finish in the additional options menu. I have all the prerequisite mods and this is the first mod i am putting into fomm.
Same. Just tried installing hairylegs' UUFO3Patch with FOMM using the "package manager" and once I hit "Finish" on the options form, I get: "A problem occurred during install: Exception of type 'System.OutOfMemoryException' was thrown. The mod was not installed." I've got everything else installed that the patch has listed as prerequisites and the FOMM worked with Command Extender installation. I guess I'll try a manual installation. Disappointing that this mod manager doesn't work with a major bug fixing patch.
that pfp that you have, I had it but in a GORE version and I don't know if she was dismembered or not, but I do remember that I had a GORE version of her. or I'm probably just hallucinating and I was similar version to her
How do u guys install the unofficial patch using Mod Manager. Everytime i install it. It says A problem occured System.OutOfMemoryException was thrown. The mod was not installed. I installed FOSE and it still doesnt work. And i have a 64gig computer. So i have plenty of memory. Hope somebody out their on Earth can help me.
Which Unofficial Patch are you referring to? There are actually two versions, not including translations to languages other than English. The Unofficial Fallout 3 Patch by Quarn/Quazzy is an executable file (.exe) that will install the update for you, where as the Updated Unofficial Fallout 3 Patch is set up as a FOMod (.fomd) file, which you can install through your mod manager.
Im having the same problem rn, i have command extender and FOSE but whenever i got to download the updated unoffical fallout 3 patch it says "A problem occured System.OutOfMemoryException" I really have no clue as to how i fix this, please help if you can.
Are you trying to download the mod with FOMM? FOMM is not able to download mods, only install them if they are set up as FOMods. Also, which version of the Unofficial Patch are you trying to install: the Unoficial Fallout 3 Patch, or the Updated Unofficial Fallout 3 Patch?
@Druuler can you elaborate? We're all referencing enabling the .fomd file from the Package Manager page - seems to be a pretty common issue with FOMM that MO2 fixes. Is our best bet to drop using FOMM altogether?
