Works great (GOTY edition). Definitely injects new life into the radio (which after 100 hours of gameplay was getting old quick).

I didn't run into issues playing the song so much as the damned radio station never even shows up as a selection.

A bit lame to be complaining on an age old mod, but this doesn't work. It was the first radio mod I used, and I got the defense warnings but no music. I looked back through the posts to see if other people had this problem and fixed it, but no one has managed to fix the music simply not working. Oh well. Guess I'll just use GNR enhanced and hope I hear more varied songs, otherwise it's time to put youtube on in the background.

I'm having the same problem and was having a similar issue with GNR Enhanced, but there's a fix for GNR. Around the Nexus should be "GNR Enhanced WAV only version" or something like that. I applied all the installation steps for GNR from that mod, and my volume-mixing issues were solved. Now, if Conelrad can get a similar fix or use the WAV only fix GNR has, this mod would be perfect for me. I just don't know if GNR's WAV only stuff can apply to Conelrad right out of the box. Also, there's the consideration of getting a plugin's scripts to use the WAVs instead of mp3's.

I think I just succeeded in using GNR Enhanced WAV Only's tools on Conelrad's mp3's. All that has to be done is to use the GNR fix's "convert" batch file while lame.exe, sox.exe, and zlib1.dll hang out with it in the Conelrad 640-1240 directory where all the music gets put. Then, change each song in the plugin to use the WAV files instead. So far, this hack-job custom mod is working. I'll test more before asking for permissions to post, composing a detailed readme, and what-not. PM me if you're interested in implementation instructions in the meantime. No promises it'll work for everyone.

Update: I've noticed that -- like the WAV Only fix for GNR Enhanced -- my hack-job fix for Conelrad tends to let songs play at least twice in a row... I'll have to investigate why at a later date. Let me know your ideas. I'm contemplating making a forum thread about my little fix so I don't have to keep editing this post or bugging the mod author in some way. Lates.

So i just found a workarround , it works if I run fo3 without FOSE, but just pop fo3 launcher on and run the radio, then pop back once on FOSE, and then back on nonSE for a while, try if that works? because I did that and got the radio working.... not sure if it will stay good but seems fine for now.

I know this is an old post but, do you or anyone know what dp means by "Then, change each song in the plugin to use the WAV files instead"? Appreciate any help

There is a track list in the descriptions and it seems the titles are pretty straight forward, try looking for a title that looks apropiate and try it on YT ^^

I downloaded this for New Vegas first before realising that there was a version for Fallout 3.

I'm not a fan of the song list but I'm not going to mark you down for it. There's lots of songs we all hear on the radio that we don't like, but we keep listening anyway. Plus, it's sort of representative of the time. A lot of people in the Fallout world were devout Christians who despised anything from China or the "commies" they called them.

Good work mate, I like it. Have an endorsement.

Well the communist Chinese are indeed "commies" so. Also, religion has nothing to do with a dislike of the Chinese government.

I never said that it did, I was mearly stating that in the Fallout world, a lot of people were Christians and also despised the Chinese government. Please read the posts properly before trying to make a contradiction.

Brilliant! Where the hell did you find these songs? Actually stopped playing and just listened to the radio. Well endorsed.

    PS No problems so far.

Talk about an essential mod. This wee gem kept me going until I had Three Dog's bloody radio dish repaired. Mod works perfectly and the left-bashing propaganda had me spitting feathers, so I'd say it fits in with Fallout just perfectly.

At some point the Radio started stuttering a lot, the same thing happened with Existance 2.0.The vanilla Radio Stations are unaffected by this though, can anyone help me with this?

Nevermind, I fixed my problem by installing the K-lite codec pack(Basic one) and the stutters went away.

Many thanks for this mod! It's the only radio station I have been able to get to work properly in FO3. Whenever I get back to FO4, I'll be adding that version into my game.
