thanks for this..can now aim, where my d*mb bullets became a bit smarter and learned not to bend towards walls. shooting an opponents weapon when sticking out a window now workable.
I kinda found that if you shoot near non hostile enemies bullet go towards the crosshair but not toward their limb , maybe if you could turn every enemy green on radar it will also disable auto aim towards the limb . Edit : I guess stop the crosshair going red instead.
Sounds like i will have to learn to use each weapon as the crosshair is useless at this point.
But i just HAVE to get ride of the bullet rise.. it is annoying as hell!!!
Infact... bullet rise is the exact opposite of real life, we have bullet FALL... Infect.... maybe you could switch the rise to a fall? and make the angle = of gravity pulling the bullet down?
Also does this mod effect ALL weapons automatically? Does it effect weapons added in mods?
actually bullet rise is real. Used to be in the army and its one of the basics they teach you when learning to shoot. The bullet rises at about 25 meters then drops back down around 300. anything in between, you have to aim a bit lower. sorry to burst your bubble.
Yes, this is because the sights are above the barrel, so they are adjusted so the bullet crosses the sight path while rising, then crosses it again falling. This keeps the bullet as close to the sight path as possible for the longest distance, but means you have to know the bullet ballistics at every range to get sniper accuracy IRL.
It's like Bethesda does things without thinking about them. They made a sytem to make your bullet go where the crosshair is so that your shooting can be accurate, yet at the same time the system has an auto aim which targets the torso, so when you try to shoot at the enemy's head you lose controll over your accuracy. They should have just designed a crosshair for each weapon that shows where the bullets will go.
This made limbs in my game get switched to spanish, I dont know how to fix it. Any help on how to fully uninstall the mod or atleast fix the language settings?
"If we completely remove the auto aim features, the game fire your bullets from your weapon, parrallel to the 3d model (like it should be physically). The only issue is that every weapon is somehow differently aligned, the .44 magnum is slightly pointing under the crosshair, the hunting rifle is pointing at its right, etc ... so without the auto aim enabled, the crosshair is not really anymore where you are aiming, and it is different for each weapon. basically the auto aim feature redirect your bullets toward the center of the screen. This would be a great feature, and I wouldn't try to change it, if the same feature wasn't also used in combat as a targetting help. When your crosshair is near the bounding box of an enemy's limb, the auto aim feature stops to retarget your bullets to the crosshair, but instead targets them towars the nearest limb..."
So basicly you fix the auto aim but mess up the cross hair...?
I can't believe I passed on this mod for so long. Works great, and I thank you for fixing this problem. For any who have not tried it, give it a go and be happy with the results. Great little mod!
